VVR ANAND BHAVAN (SPECIAL MULBAGAL DOSA) - Vegetarian restaurant in Sonnavadi - Kolar, India

I tried special mulbagal dosa and puddi dosa in their menu. Dosa is smooth and tastes ok. They have added overflowing amount of ghee but it tasted good only. Chutney and karam was also okiesh. I had also tried mulbagal dosa two weeks back in a nearby restaurant and I somehow felt difference. The dosas here are okiesh as compared to other restaurants. Service here was good and quick though and they respect customer as much as they can. Restaurant also looks clean and hygiene, however washrooms are not so clean and unhygienic, which is not expected from a restaurant high way. There is also a small outlet of Coorg spies (they claim it original) which I couldn't try but I feel it is good too. You can get snacks as well. Like others mentioned prices of coffee and tea are high and they charge like any A2B. Parking is not a problem - both for cars and bikes and there is ample space just outside the restaurant too. The restaurant is just adjacent to highway and so access is easy especially if you are coming towards Bangalore from Tirupati or Chennai. Try here once and also try mulbagal dosas in nearby restaurant to see which one you liked.

Stopped for a cup of coffee on the way to Bengaluru from Tirupati on a wet and rainy evening. Ample parking space, Popular destination for snacks as well as dinner. But could have been a little more hygienic.

We went here for coffee and tea. Both are ok ok. Very poor maintenance. They charge 42rs for coffee like a2b but not maintained hygiene. Dirty toilets. When they charge like big hotels they should provide clean best service.

South Indian meals is exceptional . Every item that was served was brilliantly cooked and tasted yumm. Cost : Rs 190 | Highly recommend On the contrary North Indian meals was not up to the mark. Roti was not cooked well and paneer gravy was average. Jeera rice was nice though as part of North Thali. Cost : Rs 250 | Not worth Mushroom Manchurian: Too much food color, Mushroom pieces was heavily coated in batter. Too much sauce. Cost : Rs 210 | Not Good Curd Rice : Was good Rest room not clean. Ample parking space.

I was disappointed.... the mulabagal dosa I ordered wasn't to the mark . The fresh lime juice with salt was only water there was no lime ..

Service is not good.taste ok ok. But price is high. Parking and location of restaurant is good. In this stretch this is the hotel comes as a break taking place. But not the best to break.

Loved the dosa. Tried all of their Mulbagal dosas on the menu. The masala and chutney were so good too. I am not a fan of sweet sambar. So I cannot comment on that. The dahi Puri was very average. The staff were kind. The restaurant was a very easy stop on the highway without any hassle.

Good taste .. Need to maintain clean in hand wash area...
