Unplan by Tatsat - Backpacker Hostel in Rishikesh - Tehri Garhwal, India

I had a wonderful experience at Unplan hostel, I love the charm of this hostel, The atmosphere and services were great. This hostel was amazing, it exceeded my expectations and It doesn't give you the routine hostel vibe at all. All the staff were attentive, They are so kind and friendly furthermore help you have a good time there and make sure you have a good laugh during your stay. The rooms were spotless and spacious moreover the bed was extremely comfortable and the most comfortable bed you can sleep in. The price was amazing. All the dishes were delicious moreover were reasonable and affordable so I recommend you to taste their traditional meals. I personally enjoyed this location over other hostels around town, The hostel has a lot of comfort items to make you feel at home, Every night great live music was played. We danced and had wonderful time during the nights so definitely a must do if you are looking for a good time.

Best cafe to visit in Rishikesh Staff is very helpful and make sure you get good service. It's mentioned in some reviews that they serve alcoholic drinks, but nothing like that at all. Positive place, positive cafe. Must recommended.

My experience at this cafe was beyond disappointing. First, they served me beer in an open cup even though I requested a bottle, and they charged an exorbitant 400 for it. To make matters worse, I suspected they had added water to the beer, and when I asked the manager to have another customer taste it, he flatly refused. He even demanded immediate payment and asked for extra money if I wanted to taste a closed can or bottle to check for water. It was clear that they had tampered with the beer, and to top it off, their drinks weren't even listed on the menu. I would strongly advise against visiting this place.

Based on my personal experience, UNPLAN doesn't offer anything particularly exceptional. The only positive aspect I found was the enjoyable live music on the rooftop, which they use as a marketing strategy to attract customers. However, upon entering the cafe, I immediately encountered a staff member pressuring me to place an order. The menu prices were quite high compared to other cafes in the area, which made me hesitant to try anything without assurance of its quality. Additionally, I discovered that they serve undisclosed alcoholic drinks and beer referred to as "LIT" at a steep price of 400Rs per drink. This focus on profit-making raises doubts about their commitment to hospitality and the quality of their food. It's also worth noting that caution should be exercised when ordering beer, as it appears to be diluted with water and served in open cups.

Beautiful ambience, great service, great music too. If you want to have a chill time with friends or family, and enjoy amazing music and good food, this is the right place to come. The staff is super helpful!

Hidden gem on the most happening street. We stumbled upon this place while looking for a place with live music..the place, the ambience, the artists, the food and the STAFF is just It felt like a home away from home with lit vibe..5+ stars! Can't wait to visit again.

The staff wasn't very professional, the rooms smelled bad, they weren't clean, and they didn't provide basic things like a bucket and a mug. The bathroom doors couldn't even lock. They said this is what a standard room is like. After this bad experience, they didn't allow us to leave early and charged us for all the days we booked, even though we left a day early. This place might be better suited for people who drink alcohol and smoke.

Unprofessional is an understatement. **GANGSTER BEHAVIOUR** Highly inefficient kitchen operation. Food not ready even after an hour of ordering, two follow-up requests and bullish attitude on top of it. They just want the money in your pocket. The lady who invited us (group of 6 international tourists) to this cafe had teary eyes and apologized to us all for inviting us there. DO NOT FALL FOR LIVE MUSIC - Go somewhere else.
