Local GuideFood is too good escepcially fish fry !! Totally loved it and their toddy is too good !! They have a good menu and the staffs are too friendly ! And the location is good one and it is near the lake of alappy ! U can enjoy ur food with a view !! This place is recommended for the people who love to have good shaap food !! Love to comeback and explore more food items on their menu !tried their 2 grill fishes and one squid masala ! Spicy too and i felt the must try one is their karimeen tawa fry !!

Local GuideWe didn't know how to appreciate the Toddy drink, but the food here hands down was the best in my two weeks here in Kerala. Do not miss the curry crab and fish fry. It was absolutely delicious and mind blowing!

Local GuideVery expensive. And outsiders of Kerala . It feels like they charged more . And the prices are not displayed and it costs more or same as the big hotel. We tried here squid. And local fishes ,omlete , aapam . Only fish sambar was not good everything was quite good taste. There is no parking facility for car we should park somewhere and come to this place and it is next to the water

Local GuideA small place with people of big hearts.. Really tasty food cooked and served by a family. The hospitality of the owner Mr. Subash will amaze you. We went there as a group of four people to taste the authentic Alleppey food and toddy. We also done some site seeing. Behind this shop and his house, some beautiful scenery is awaiting you. Rice field, a150 year old church etc. A must visit for authentic Alleppey food and good quality toddy.

Local GuideAs I have heard a lot about toddy shops in Kerala and wished to give them a try, well I did try this one and was not disappointed. Subhash(toddy shop owner) was very patient with me, as being a north Indian I had very little Idea about the food being served there. Inquired about espaciality of the kitchen from few of there regulars, every one was very helpful and I never felt odd and unwelcomed. They serve Two kinds of toddy, one that is freshly collected in a small bamboo container but had little alcohol content because it's still fermenting, the other one is fermented enough but they have diluted it by adding water. Food here is inexpensive and delicious, I paid Rs70 for fish fry and Rs30 for half plate of fried small fish(I don't remember the name of the dish). But toddy is expensive, freshly collected toddy will cost you Rs180.

Local GuideI had been here for lunch. There is no facility for parking and its a small road next to backwaters so keep that in mind if you are commuting by a vehicle. The fish meal was delicious. The karimeen fry was not at all good. I felt it was cooked the before day. Carb sukka was ultimate.
