Local GuideVery beautiful place to visit with your friends, there are no snakes while I am visiting ,the rocks may be slippery at some places so Take care while walking, Don't go alone it may be dangerous. But it's a good hill worth climbing

Local GuideIt's a nice trek as the path is clearly marked. Takes 2 hrs to go up. Advisable to start early as it gets very sunny later in the day. The difficulty is finding the starting point of that well marked path. The path has arrows every 2 meters. Locals also aren't too sure where it starts.

Local GuideI went up the toad hill aftet nearly 20 yrs and the excitement is still the same. If you happen to visit CMC Bagayam, campus and have a day to spare...trek up the toad hill is a great way to unwind. I had been to CMC with my students last month and almost relived my student life in vellore. October to February is great for the climb but we were fortunate to have wonderful weather in August. It has something for ppl of varying levels of fitness. If you are a first timer, you can always take the marked path but its more fun to make your own way.
