Thiruchendur Murugan Temple is currently undergoing renovation, but the well-maintained beach nearby provides a refreshing bathing experience. Mobile phones are not allowed inside the temple, but there are locker facilities for both phones and luggage. The temple premises offer drinking water, toilet facilities, and even a free bathing bathroom. Additionally, there are plenty of shopping shops to explore. Note that only vests are allowed for men; pants and shirts are not permitted.

Oldest historical temple of Tamilnadu, close towards the sea. The views are splendid. So many Peacocks were found in the temple premises, it was such a rare and amazing sight. Crowd control seemed poor, expect big ques due to the temple renovation going on. Parking spaces were provided but again poorly planned, couldn't access so we had to park far from the temple and walk, that was the only option. Overall a must visit temple. One of the aarupadi veedu temple and the man God is lord Murugan. This auspicious temple is situated near the tiruchendur sea shore. Goddess Valli and Devanai. For lord perumal also there. Free dharisanam will take much time and INR100 dharisanam will take 30-60mins but in auspicious days and all the wait time is not judgeable. Gives peace and relax to the mind. Must recommended

Divine temple for the Tamil God Senthilnathan. Divine shrines of Lord Murugan, Goddess Valli, Goddess Deyvayanai, Lord Shiva lingam, Lord Perumal, Lord Saneeswara, Lord Dakshinamurthy, Lord Bairava. Old contemporary as any traditional Tamil temple. Went in through a special entrance ticket of 100/- at 6.30am and had to wait for 1.5 hours before darshan 7.40am. Too many people requesting money, requesting for telling foretelling spoil the environment around the temple. Construction is ongoing outside the temple.

Spectacular temple located right at the seashore!You can spot many peacocks around the temple, which makes us feel the presence of Lord Murugan himself! Though there are tons of workers inside the temple, the maintenance is so average only.

Thirichendur is a scenic coastal town and it is famous for the temple dedicated to Lord Murugan, the second son and warrior deity of Shiva. This temple is located by the Bay of Bengal, the Tiruchendur Murugan temple is the only temple for Lord Murugan located near the seaside. This temple is also an architectural marvels like most of the temples in Tamilnadu. One who visit Kanyakumari can also visit here and you need to travel almost 100KM from Kanyakumari. The road from Kanyakumari to Thrichendur was good and the highway work was still going in some places. We need to travel through very lonely places . Once you reach here, you need to first find a parking place which was very hard in rush days. Also better take the paid queue which was common in most of the Tamilnadu temples now a days. I took Rs.100 queue and even I need to stand more than 1.5 hr to take darshan. The planning was very bad here, we need to walk almost 1km from parking. Even there is not enough staff to control or manage the rush and parking. Better park vehicles carefully else some bad drivers will park in front of your vehicle and it may affect you badly. The paid queue is also not good. They not provide enough facilities gor the devotees.. My suggestion Please get enter into the temple. There is one hotel named Tamilnadu Hotel. Use the restaurant or take a room there for fresh up and park vehicles here.. They have a large and neat parking slot Thanks Adarsh
