The Hotel Palacio - Hotel in Guwahati - Kamrup Metro, India

The hotel is not worth the tariff. The twin beds are not even comfortable for kids, when asked the staff denies the king size bed room. The hotel manager is rude and wasn't even willing to show some efforts until we got the agency involved in the argument. The food is overpriced. The AC wasn't cooling the room even after setting it at 18 degrees. The rooms are tiny and suffocating. There's no ventilation or window in the room. Definitely not recommending the place at all.

Sorry to say this. Had a very bitter experience today. Our guests while checking out had the experience. The confusion was related to a simple Kit Kat chocolate. Guests had bought it from Delhi, but the Housekeeping argued that the same was from Minibar without checking the inventory. The front desk did not have any clue about it and failed to manage the situation. The guests paid..its simple INR 53. Requests the authorities to look into this matter. It's not about the money, it's about a service and dampening the mood for the entire day.

Wanted to check Guwahati's nightlife, decided to go to Nyx. Avoid going there, the bouncer wanted entry fees and ended up keeping the cash in his pocket. Initially told us it is redeemable but when we arrived upstairs told us it was only for entry. Would have been worth paying the entry fee if the place was at the very least packed. Not worth the hype, go to either Nuts & Brew or House of Madira instead for a proper experience of Guwahati's nightlife. I really doubt hotel management will even do anything considering the long list of reviews where the response is exactly the same. Also please refrain from using Mr for those of us who identify as women. Learn gender equity and equality before running a hopeless business!

Welcome to one of the best hotels in Guwahati. The most helpful guy will be Nobojit Das at the reception who will ensure that this isn't fixed and no one comes to your room. According to him his duty is to only inform the duty manager when I asked him to help.

I spent 3 days here which were comfortable and relaxing, it's in front of Taj Vivanta,We didn't hear any music sound or something as most people have mentioned in the review. The room service is prompt and the staff is well mannered and behavioral, The food is also great. Why am I cutting down 2 stars .. 1) they clean our room without our permission. 2) wifi was working but speed was 8-9 Mbps which is way too low to work,even after complaining soo many times they were not able to fix it.

If you are in Guwahati and planning to have good night out this is definately not the place. I am talking about NYX. As you enter you will get amazed to see a dozen bouncers ( do not understand why so many are required) which starts to make you feel whether you are in a safe place as so many bouncers if the club is keeping means something must be happening there. To add to that they even interact with you before letting you in the club. They are the people you would like to say are people with big body but small brains who are trying to find out if you are carrying anything illegal but do not know how to talk or behave with their guests. When you are seated you are constantly going to get stares from half a dozen bouncers who are at restaurant area. I am surprised which club or restaurants put bouncers near the tables area. They are at gate and come into play when required. Have been to many clubs world over but never have seen this kind of a scenario. Anyways it's NYX call. All I can say spare yourself the trouble to go here.

It is definitely the worst place to be in. In case of service and the way the hotel People behave is rude. I was a very old customer. I went after a year. The stuff and the way they act with situations. They charge way to much for nothing. It is a Scam!! I would never prefer going to nyx or Palacio! No safety, the bouncers it self were rude. Sunny boy! Review for Hotel palacio My experience at this hotel was nothing short of appalling. Despite booking a stay for four people across two rooms via Agoda, upon arrival we were condescendingly informed by the hotel that they had received the reservation from a third party and it was erroneously for only two people. Their ineptitude escalated into blatant harassment at an ungodly hour of 10:30 PM. Instead of assisting or rectifying the situation, they audaciously demanded additional funds and had the gall to force us into resolving their mistake. The level of customer service was atrocious and, quite frankly, unforgivable. I vow never to stay here again and will vehemently discourage anyone from enduring such a disgraceful experience. Consider yourselves warned.
