This was my 2nd visit to South Park Street Cemetery. As per my experience, this historic burial ground is a calm and relaxing spot consisting of variety of trees, Gothic style tombs and monuments which are surrounded by high brick walls. Although some people say that they are able to spot spiritual beings here but fortunately till now I did not have encounter with any such spiritual being. In short, one can easily spend time here in order to attain peace. P.s. The authorities must emphasize more on the maintenance part as some of the tombs are found to be broken. One of the best place I've been to in my entire life. It's just so calm and relaxing place to to spend time. It's hundreds of Graves from 18th Centuries here. Few of very renowned person are residing there under 2Yards from surface. People would say, it's haunted or horrible place, but that's completely wrong, there's nothing like that. It's a great place. Also there are trees of Mangoes which were actually having Mangoes, so it was fruitful for me as well, lol. But you need to visit this place, it's worth it.

It's a very peaceful place. But the tombs and architectures are broken and falling apart. The place needs to be maintained well as it holds so much of historic value. We cannot built another cemetery like this. It would be very kind if the authorities take an initiative to restore the broken architectures and to maintain the place so that it doesn't lose it's heritage value. The ticket price is 20/- per person. Please put on some odomos as you may have some mosquito bites! But, this place calms your soul.

Very calm and quiet place. There are plenty of architectural designs. The mango trees are pleasure to the eyes. There are various flowers and trees. You may get glimpses of squirrels running here and there. A nice place to sit and think or spend 2 or 3 hours.

Fan of everything spooky and haunted, visit South Park Cemetery. One of the most haunted places in India, this place is equal parts beautiful and equal parts eerie. Established in 1767, the cemetery was founded by the British and is a remnant of their architectural style. Take a walk through the cemetery during the day and you will find plenty of spots that are worth admiring. However, by night the place is shut down and entry is prohibited because of the strange incidents that have happened in the past.

This is a peaceful place to spending time with your loved one. But sometimes a gang of drunk boys disturb the environment. You should aware of them as they can snatch your purse or money. The management is too good but they also fear from them. Otherwise the place is so beautiful, full of greenary.

One of the best place for explorers , Colonial structures, quite place, spooky .. you can take auto from esplanade to reach Mullick bazar (park street) to get to Park Street cemetery, Nearest metro park street. Ticket price Rs20 per head and with camera Rs50.
