Screen Delights: A Comprehensive Review of Sona Mina Theatre's Multiplex Experience Sona Mina Theatre in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, offers a multiplex experience with four screens, each with its own unique qualities. Screens 1, 2, and 3 have recently undergone renovation, while Screen 4 remains in its original state. Screens 1, 2, and 3 impress with their good screen quality and comfortable seating arrangements. Screen 1 takes the lead with the largest screen size, followed by Screen 2 and then Screen 3. The sound systems in these screens are commendable, providing an immersive audio experience. Moreover, the theater maintains punctual showtime starts, ensuring a smooth movie-watching experience. The restrooms for Screens 1, 2, and 3 are well-maintained and tidy, contributing to the overall positive impression. On the other hand, Screen 4 falls behind in comparison. While it offers a decent screen size, the seating and sound system are average at best. Some attendees have reported audible speaker noise and vibrations, which can be distracting. Additionally, the screen is located quite far from the last row, possibly impacting the viewing experience. As a result, Screen 4 is considered the least preferred screen by patrons. Screen 2, being the second-largest screen in the complex after Screen 1, stands out positively. It offers a well-arranged seating layout and boasts good sound and screen clarity, ensuring an enjoyable movie experience. Screen 3, despite its compact hall and small screen size, manages to deliver decent screen clarity and a good sound system. However, the seats in this screen show signs of wear and tear, appearing slightly damaged and old. Overall, Sona Mina Theatre provides a range of screen options for moviegoers, each with its own pros and cons. While Screens 1, 2, and 3 offer a satisfying cinematic experience with their comfortable seating, good sound systems, and varying screen sizes, Screen 4 falls short in comparison. Patrons may find themselves gravitating towards Screens 1 and 2 for the best overall experience, while Screen 3, despite its smaller size, still offers a decent viewing experience.
1 time went to that theatre from Pondicherry. Ticket rate is somewhat expensive when compared to INOX , PVR . Ambience is good . Checking while is entering inside the theatre is not good and some kind of bad touch . Management should look after that.
Theatre is located near central bus stand can reach by walk.Screen and sound system ia also good to watch movies. Also have good bike and car parking space.

We saw PS2 here at Posh, Level 1. Positives Seats are comfortable Food is palatable Combos are worthwhile Rest rooms are well maintained To be improved Food Q isn't well managed Just 1 billing counter for 250 persons Only last 3 rows have an incline Live with it- Rows D onwards are placed on a flat floor. So neck pain is a takeaway after watching the film! Overall, nice place to watch once in a while.
A good theatre , well maintained, neat and clean, allow to take water bottles in side the theatre, a good car parking , parking charges are not high , enjoyed the show with Ac cool
Theatre snacks are good but toilet is not great doesn't have mirror too. No much parking . Effect is okay
Yeah worth the theatre to see the movie. On the weekends the theatre was filled up with crowds. And you can enjoy the movie in Dolby Atmos audio quality. A/C is in the best condition. Snacks price is as well as the other theatres. No cost difference. But they provide free drinking water. All most 4/5 I gave to this theatre

Watched super deluxe movie today. Unexpected things happened in the theatre. Theatre is old fashioned. Suited the need. Cleanliness very good. Never saw multiple mirrors in the stair case to balcony in any other theatre. Couldn't provide the pics. Ch
