Egg kothu parotta was well cooked and tasty. Plain parotta wasn't cooked properly The gravy given for parotta dint have any spice or difference between the other gravy given Pepper chicken gravy quantity was very less for the price and it was more of tomato sause flavour could not taste the pepper flavour while eating it

Mutton biryani was good. Pices were a bit hard.

Same quality about 20 years of my experience... Rate also reasonable comparing others ..but quantity and quality is always ultimate

Visited for lunch with family. Had to wait for table. Costed about 2600 for 7 of us. Both normal and ac options. Good to visit with family.Tasty food and quick service. All non veg choices are available although non veg portions were less for price charged Cleanliness average. Toilets not clean.

Myself and mom crashed here for lunch and today was our last day in madurai. So we decided to take a big swig to taste fine madurai spl dishes. So we ordered mutto briyani, mutton kola meals with airaa meen kozhambu and mutto chukka. For meals they offer mutton , fish and chicken kozhambu. Everything was fantastic. Briyani was fresh out of dhum but mutton pieces where bit hard to chew. And all their curries was spicy for our pallet. Kola was fine size and we we had a our good share of it. Service was very nice. Can try once

Today I happened to have lunch at Shanmuga Chettinadu mess in their branch near sub registrar office, Otthakadai. I had non veg meals. It's recently opened branch so went with lot of expectations however I was totally disappointed. They don't have a hot box for keeping rice so when it was served from a opened bowl it was already cold. Rice was served with chicken, mutton and fish gravy. None of them tasted good. For side dish I ordered chettinadu chicken. God knows the meaning of chettinadu. The chicken gravy was tasted like a spicy butter chicken with no flavor in it. The omlete was badly cooked. The only face saver wad mutton Kola urundai. Coming to the hygiene part it was bad because of the person serving. He was casually keeping his hands on the banana leaf while serving. When keeping omlete he pushed the rice on the banana leaf to keep it on place. Overall very bad. They can't run like this with old heritage and legacy. Will think thrice before visiting next time!

Good South Indian non vegetarian restaurant in Anna Nagar. Not too pricey and the quality is very consistent and good.
