Shama Biryani Dhaba - Restaurant in Chandigarh - Chandigarh, India

I have been thinking of reviewing this place for long time coz of the biryanis they serve, which my wife especially loves it. But due to nearby parking rush, I always miss to click pics. The place is small, so I always prefer takeaways & everytime I visit Shastri Market; I make sure to get full Muradabadi Chicken Biryani. Reasons: taste,aroma,not spicy (which my kid can consume) & last the Salan served with it. Wow mind blowing I know people always prefer raita but guys this Salan which is mostly not served even in Biryani Blues & Behrouz is the game changer. Hyderabadi birayani is for spicy lovers. They also serve other dishes which you can try. They serve quality biryani in nominal price that also by kilo. Quantity wise 5 stars. They do have some branches but I have not tried others yet. Must try..must visit.. you will love it..

So here's the thing , if there's one place I want you to avoid in this life this is the one which takes that dear award wanted to Review this place for long time as since had food from this outlet about 1 year ago , truly nothing has changed the staff ,neither the food which will smell horrible at all times which is their Goal basically, the DirtyA$$ plates in which they serve your Meal you ask them to change they will give u a A look directly into your soul as if you asked them to have a fight with you idk what's with those Creepy looks it's so Rude , hello fellas wecame here to Eat I hope you'll give At the bare minimum "hygenic food" for which I paid not that the prices are cheap Rs. so you'll serve DogSh*t to people .

If you're looking for a delicious chicken dish or biryani in Sector 22 of Chandigarh, Shama Dhaba is a great option. However, if you're looking for good roti to go along with your meal, you may want to look elsewhere. Unfortunately, the tawa used by Shama Dhaba for making roti often spoils the taste, which can be disappointing. Therefore, while Shama Dhaba may be a good choice for certain dishes. tvaa cikn aur biryaanii acchii hotii hai /

Below average biryamis offered. Too much spicy and chicken pieces r also not properly cooked. Roadside biryani has better taste than this. Overall not worth it.

I visited here second time, firstly I ate biryani here, hydrabadi, some people would like that biryani but I have had much better than this one, it was like fried rice with some fried chicken pieces, those who don't know the real taste of the hydrabadi biryani may like it. But all over the food was not that quality. Second time I had their butter chicken it was also nit that better. I didn't like the food quality might be other people who visit here like it. My friend likes their biryani but in reality, it was Dissapointing for me.

Their biryani was really one of the best I've had in Chandigarh (only Chandigarh not south India). The spicy version should be avoided as it's too spicy. Seating is congested and sometimes crowded during lunch hour but overall experience of dining there was alright. Better take away and enjoy it at home.

First time I tried this place I took half lamb biryani it had 4 pieces of meat fair enough but super tough, rice was flavourful I don't think I will go back to this place again

I have tried their biriyani.. They sell biriyani by kilos.. The biriyani is very tasty when compared to other famous biriyani restaurants in mohali and chandigarh. You can eat from the place or you can take it home. Apart from chicken biriyani, This dhaba also provide mutton biriyani. As add ons to the biriyani, they provide tasty chutney and kurma gravy which is very tasty. They have other dishes like chicken curries including afghani chicken. The place is located near to the 22 sector market. Will visit this place again if I want to have some tasty, and stomach filling biriyani.
