0 star for veg uttapam which was way too salty and i had to throw it away.. Could not eat it.. Same was for Maysor masala dosa..too much salt..I hope restaurant will read and make it eatable. Green chutneey was also too much salty.. Rest sambhar, white chutney, we're good. I regret to order gulab Jamun, which was not in original taste and felt like prepared in sacrine, it was too much sweet and felt like little rubber type... Atmosphere and service good. One thing... Do not try to order podi chutney or something else out of your order extra... You will not get it... As they refused to give it to me.. Even I said.. I will pay for that podi chutney, but they said... You order food where it's applicable and then only you will get it...not sure how Podi chutney is not applicable in Masala dosa and uttapam.. Seriously.. I doubt.. I would visit again..
The quality of cutlery and plates is awful. Why it's not replaced is a mystery . The service is poor. Quality of food has declined even though prices have gone up substantially. Just a few minutes ago today ( 10 November 2023 )an order for alu dum was delivered by Sagar Ratna restaurant , sector 16 faridabad. It is stale and smelly. Unfit for consumption. Yet the representative said on phone that he himself is having it just now as it's perfect. After being told that he can collect it from my house and eat it also, he agreed to refund my money. Though it's doubtful if money will come so easily I hereby wish to inform everyone that the quality of food is now substandard. Prices have been hiked. The management is no longer courteous and customer friendly. Today, on 11 November 2023 It's almost 24 hrs now since manager of Sagar Ratna restaurant sector 16 faridabad called to say that he's sending someone to collect the stale alu dum and refund my money. Till now no response from Sagar Ratna. Stay away from this unscrupulous cheats who have no remorse or feelings of shame and guilt. I hope the top management is aware of how a few black sheep are besmirching the name of this reputed chain . If not I shall definitely inform them in due course. Meanwhile stay away from Sagar Ratna , sector 16, faridabad and preserve your health and money
The restaurant is situated in Sector-16 Faridabad. The ambience of the restaurant is good. Food tasted good, the staff is very friendly and makes sure that you have enough sambhar and chutneys which is a must in any South Indian Restaurant. I tried their Masala Chettinad Dosa for the first time and to my surprise 2 plain dosas came one with red chutney and one with green chutney along with 3 different kind of Masala's (south indian mashed potatoes mixed with green chutney/red chutney and normal potatoes which u get in masala Dosa) accompanied with Coconut Chutney. Dosa tasted fantastic.Worth a try. I also ordered Rasam with Papadam and it was good as usual.
I had recently tried rawa masala dosa and tandoori platter which was the best i had ever have.. Sagar ratna have always been my favourite.. I loved to hang out there because dosa is my favourite food.. Do try out these amazing dishes.. Recommended
Horrible Captain. Horrible Food.Sagar Ratna ke naam pe Kalank hai..... I love South Indian food and have experience what they taste like. Today I ordered for a South Indian thali and that was not worth the price . Potato capcicum dish had raw potatoes.They took it back. They came back with lobia which had no lobia.Then again they took it back.And brought a mix veg and aloo bhaji( which u find inside dosa).Did i pay for this? Actually the captain are very irresponsible and don't pay attention while taking order.They don't even know the difference between two dishes. But the manager took all the onus of the silly staff.Pity him. In my last 16 yrs with Sagar Ratna this particular outlet was the worst. Not coming back.
Sagar ratna crown plaza was my go to place in Faridabad. After a long gap I planned to visit the same , but now they are in 16 sec market. This outlet has disappointed a lot, it seems that they are not the good old sagar ratna chain. Cost is also. Would recommend to visit pavanam,

I'm not sure but due to crowd they are not able to serve heiginic food. Water glasses not cleaned properly, food items served late, and also not warm and quality of food would be like 2/5. I would prefer pavanam instead of Sagar ratna
