A newly famous outlet. Food was good. Of the dishes tried: Beef fry is authentic. Porotta flaky. Appam soft. Lung fung soup needs perfecting. The chicken perattu was not up to the mark unfortunately. Meat was chopped in big chunks and thus not at all flavoured to the inside which is what perattu means to do usually... Service was good but staff struggling to meet needs at all tables due to low staffing probably. We never infact got the warm glass of water we needed. But understood they were under stress due to crowd. However the interactions were good. A few more staff in service recommended. All in all a good start to the venture. Parking is available. Ambience is good for a nice evening. Booking the tables beforehand recommended.

Had an absolutely delicious meal at Plav. It was my first time visiting the place and I always keep my expectations low at such times. Loved the spicy Chemmeen Mango Curry that we bought with Steamed Rice. The Neymeen Fry was also tasty and came with some fresh accompaniments. However, the highlight of the meal was the fantastic Crab Paal Curry. Rich, full of flavour, and addictive! Forgetting my surroundings, I licked my plate clean!! Met the chef and complimented her on the dishes. Will definitely visit again.
Exquisite dining experience. Very nice ambience with less crowd. Food is good but not the best in the town. The dining experience is significantly costly. Go and have food in Place for the ambience it gives.

As someone who is quite picky about their food I cannot tell u how much I love plav.From their crab curry to fluffy appam and stew everything is so yummy. The place has a really nice ambience and it's a great spot for pictures and hanging out with your friends the owners are VERY cute and welcoming genuinely one of the few places in Trivandrum that everyone would love and also their soups deserve a special mention.

Great ambience! Staffs are friendly. We ordered Kerala Parotta, Chemmeen fry, Appam, Chicken Stew, Beef ularthiyatu with Ginger tea and Passionfruit Juice. The Kerala Parotta and Appam were good. Passion fruit was really good so as Ginger tea. Chemmem fry was really good that we ordered another plate. However, it was a tad salty to our liking. Beef ulathiyatu could be spiced up more. It looked spicy, but was less spicy for our liking. Chicken stew was not good. I didn't feel it as a Chicken stew. Lacked pepper hit and too much fresh coriander has overpowered the flavours of a stew. It was not bad, we can have it as some chicken curry but not as Chicken stew. It was a let down.
