OLD CHURCH BUILT IN 1814,CONSECRATED BY MARTHOMA IIIrd. YOU CAN SEE MANY CUSTOMS HERE ARE IDENTIFICAL TO HINDU TEMPLES.THE FLAG STAFF,CEREMONIAL FLAF RAISING ON FESTIVAL DAYS AND FEAST AND OIL POURING IN LAMPS .... VISITED IN SEPT 2022. DUE TO POOR LIGHT , COULDN'T VIEW THE BEUTIFUL MURALS BEHIND THE ALTTARA WALL. A STONE BOWL IN FRONT OF THE ALTARA IS MAGNIFICENT.THE COURT YARD AREA IS MARVELLOUS WITH TYPICAL KERALA STYLED TILED ROOF WITH STONE PILLARS.

This church was built in 1815 this church does not have any caste difference any one from any caste or religion can go visit this church.This is also an historic place which gives us the feeling of old church and it is very calm and full. One of the best churches in thiruvalla, Pathanamthitta.The only problem with this church is there is a lack of parking space.

This is the ancient church of tiruvalla, which is now the great asylum of all native people regardless of caste & religion as you can see. The church which we can see now was founded in 1815 is now on completion of its renovation. With almost 800 families, the parish is now one of the biggest in Niranam Diocese of Indian Orthodox Church. The murals on the altar of the church has made this a famous tourism destination too.
My marriage was here in this church. I can't give anything less than 5 start here. In addition this church is really old and you feel the holiness while praying. The place is kept really really neat and good parking
