OYO Purple Lake View - Hotel in Chettinagar - Villupuram, India

Nothing is working in it they are not even cleaning properly room is full of dust washroom is not cleaned properly

Not a good experience Property is excellent but not invested in upkeep Came to watch birds abutting lake back view but forced to change room facing road front as AC not working. Then i cut short my stay n returned

Worst Experience Ever. All day No Power and no backup Even if power is there, line got switched and power got disconnected due to heavy load. Pathetic service and response form Receptionist We went for dinner and returned at 12AM, they locked the door and nobody responded to our calls or bangs on door till 2AM. At 2AM the receptionist came and said his mobile was in silent mode. We can smell him that he was fully drunk and not in senses. We were at doorsteps for 2 hours with family and kids. That was the worst time for us ever. My sincere advice to everyone looking at thi property, pls avoid this to have a pleasant vacation. Even OYO guys was not at all helpful to us. This ruined our trip completely.

Very bad servings. Redirecting to newly constructed building. There is no lights in front of hotel. Midway of forest. Water colour is yellow. No lights in toilet. Shock in water heater. Not a maintained one. Bathroom is not a cleaned one. Worst hotel. Contacting persons are very bad in attending persons. I would suggest not to come.

Room was neat and clean. Quality of water not good. I feel they have 40+inventory hope I was the only guests. I just used for wash and change for 3hours. No dining facilities. No nearby restaurants except for road side Dabba one he served delicious dosas and idlies. No service staff overall not happy.

Worst experience ever... I don't suggest I would have given 0 if I have that option We pre booked a room in Pondicherry (Auroville) checking every thing 2 days before our trip Oyo representative called us and asked to check for other hotel due to renovation issues. Oyo representative helped us booking another hotel Then we booked purple lake view which is 16 kms from auroville with out any facilities in surrounding places, just becoz hotel seems nice and comfortable. But our experience was worst 1. We checked in at 4pm , there is only one person in hotel and he don't have computer to check details. He sounded very unhappy about our visit 2. Room is same as shown we are happy and thought of having bath and start visiting places as we travelled soo long 3. When we check running water was dirty and green/yellow in color 4. Hotel management said they just switch on the water motor It will take some time , so we went out side with out having bath at 5pm 5. We returned at 10pm and found water is still in yellow ,when we asked hotel management to come and check they don't respond. 6. Here they don't have extension phone, they provide some perosnal number of a person and that will be busy all the time 7. We tried complaining Oyo customer support and they don't resolve the issue. After customer support person spoke hotel management person came checked and claimed this is color of water in their hotel. 8.Ater trying for water till 11.30 pm we slept with out having shower. 9. After 12 am power cut. No power from 12.30 am to 5 am. We were worried and thought of calling police as we felt place is not safe. 10. Early morning once we wake up we checked out and with help of previous hotel representative ,we took a room had shower and checked out in 2hrs It's a new building No wifi They don't have proper reception desk No telephone extension No food factilty in hotel No house or shop around hotel, in emergency you can't even cl to hotel management Ac water leakage issue Sofa in room is dusty No air freshener in room Same battery for 2 tv remotes NO SECURITY AND SAFTEY Hotel representative- Gilbert Our complete trip was ruined just becoz of this hotel ,hotel management person is sooo rude. When we make him talk with Oyo customer support ,he rudely turned on tap and kept my phone under it and asked person to listen water flow , where as my problem is color of water not water flow,my phone was wet. Oyo marked my complaint ticket as no water issue and resolved with out checking with me, this clearly shows Oyo just need money not customer satisfaction. VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE ....

Dirty water in the bathroom. Full night electricity fluctuations, neither ac worked nicely. Room was spacious, but badly designed....had was basin at the entrance... No restaurant... breakfast came at 11:00 from some remote place. Hospitality - arrogant guys. Took 3 hrs to make 4 rooms, even when informed well in advance. Btw don't book from OYO...

This hotel isn't functional. We booked from Oyo before a week. And on day of stay, only one staff member present. Ghostly experience. Finally had to cancel booking. Location is also far from places of interest in pondicherry. Don't go here, ever in your life. If you've been there in your past, invent a time machine and change it.
