OYO Hotel Auro - Hotel in Puducherry - Pondicherry, India

If you're a woman, avoid this hotel at all costs. Don't fall for the paid reviews and the staged photos, it's a sham. Forget basic facilities, my biggest issue was security. The staff behaved as if they were doing us a favour for letting us stay there, even though it cost a bomb. My two friends and I were the only female occupants of the entire hotel. On New year's Eve, half of the staff members were drunk and were creating a commotion outside our door. We couldn't sleep at all as we were too scared.

Would not prefer to stay even for free. Rooms are not cleaned. Washroom doesn't have a latch. A lot of open vents on the room. AC doesn't work as expected. Lift stinks. Not at all matches the photos uploaded. Says outside food not allowed but doesn't have chilled water atleast. Door knob comes out if you touch.

There is no parking space ....room service is bad. Fab hotels booked this hotel as a compensation for us. They promised us Deluxe rooms but the room was not one. So please confirm ur booking if u are booking through Fab hotels . Also there was no safety for women and the place looked creepy as well.

The worst Oyo hotel I had ever visited. Bedsheet was stinky and smelling, we complained may times, owners didn't bother changing. We had to manage with our own bedsheet, washroom was, you can say, good but it is definitely not clean. It was completely not worth staying here ,one thing goes in favour is its location. You ca go anywhere from this location, I would suggest to book another hotel nearby this location.

Not so good for the price. Not neat. Heater is not working. Breakfast free but it's not worth the price. You can get good hotels in and around. The only advantage is it is in the downtown. It is better to avoid this hotel as one of your option.

Without prior booking came to hotel and Staff helped much and they asked me to wait to give a better room and their service was good. Location is heart of the city. Nice Stay.....

Hotel Doesn't have parking. Rooms are old but maintained well. Don't book as you see in Fab hotel. Hotel located just opposite to Pothys shop. Hotel Doesn't have suite room but while booking it will show it has suite room. Hotel located at centre of the city all shops are near by.

Substandard maintenance. Bathroom door didn't have a handle. Geyser wasn't working. No remote to control the ac; the only way to switch it off was by pulling up the breaker switch outside the room. Lift was the worst. Drunk people everywhere in the floor. Not good for family stay.
