OYO Home 16587 Compact Studio Rooms Near Mg Road - Hotel in Puducherry - Pondicherry, India

We went with family here my cousin brother booked 4 rooms based on the rating and reviews, but what we discovered there was little different. The property does not have a dedicated parking place, you will have to find your own parking place in one of the lanes around the property. Approach to the property is very narrow as this is located somewhere inside a residential locality. Also there was some road/drainage work in progress near the property during our visit, the rooms and toilets are clean but not great, very helpful and friendly staff. Just a bit about the city, most of the roads are narrow, you will have to hunt for a proper parking place unless you are ok to park your vehicle anywhere, if you are foodie then you will not find good food everywhere. The best thing would be to make a list of good food joints by asking people who already visited this place and have it handy, tourist friendly people. Before. visiting make sure you have the list of places to visit, list of restaurants you want to have food from and if you are driving ensure you have your route planned and gps is working (most of the boards will be in Tamil might be bit difficult if you dont know the places). Beaches are clean and good, there are good beach side resorts. We had good time with family. All the best have a wonderful journey!!

Place comes under oyo homes, location is too difficult to find out by newcomers. Rooms are good, compact, ideal for couples to stay. But poor maintainence by oyo captain. Couples privacy not guaranteed. Hotel is too closer in residential area, so that everything ll be audible from room to outside. Smoking and drinking can done at certain extent. Bcoz nearby houses are there. They will complain in nearby police station. Room stay prices are low in weekly days and 50%extra in weekends. So, better time to stay Tuesday, wed, Thursday. So that guest can reduce their cost. Don't give your mobile to anyone while checking out. Because house keeping, Front office person ask mobile from guest and they will self rating their hotel. Not good place for homely, orthodox ladies. Irresponsible captaincy, Tv is available but no cable connection. AC is available but not cleaned and remote won't functioning properly. Bedsheets and pillow covers as the spills. So that also not dry washed properly. Apart from this infrastructure is good and well but poor maintainence by workers

Well maintained place to stay. It's close to white town area and midway through serenity beach and rock beach. The service was very good and the ambience was great. Also they are budget friendly. Food needs to be ordered through Swiggy or Ubereats or one can carry their own induction stove to cook. Friendly staff.

This is not the proper place for couples. The hotel present in the area is totally bad.. Service is not good. They won't bother whatever happens to you.. I had a very bad experience with my better half.. At night it will be very scary when you are in room.. Don't prefer this hotels. The upcoming positive reviews you were seeing is the hotel person will take your mobile on checkout. He will put of his own reviews.. #totally worst#

Necer been to a hotel with such a bad hospitality... Forget about checking in early, they wouldn't even let u stay in the reception for more than 10 mins, and obviously ask for extra charge for early check-in... Although that seems to be their policy so can't complain much on that. But even basic necessities weren't met. There was no drinking water, and the receptionist comforted us by saying, even he doesn't have water to drink. And asked for our sympathy as well. At one point one would volunteer to donate em for a water filter. The walls were scary, had water patches and algae... One room didn't even had fan... Don't get me started on the AC remotes, they had one remote which we had to share between two rooms and reception... If u are sweating in the middle of night, u can't do anything, coz the remote is in another room and being courteous, u would resort to sleeping instead. There was no wifi, on asking for one, the receptionist opened his phone proving that even he uses his own data. There was no cable, so the only thing you can watch on TV is your own reflection. On a whole, this hotel was the only thing that ruined my pondi trip ... So, unless u have some other plans that will ruin your trip, resort staying away from this hotel/hell .

Not a nice neighbourhood, far away from main town. The vibe of the hotel wasn't good and the room we were given don't match the one they put on the website. Also there was some leakage and algae growth on the ceiling. Overall I didn't like the hotel instead i will advice to find a hotel in white town as there are so many good hotels there.

The rooms are fine and worth the price ! Situated in a residential area a bit far from the main road and the town , staff were very friendly , they even arranged us bike rental . There are no good restaurants nearby but you can swiigy it ! no problem serenity beach is nearby , the hotel is located between auroville and white town .

I have been there for one night. But there is no proper person in the reception. It was loud out side. I dint get any house keeping fecility or drinking water over there. Room was comfortable.
