OYO 22282 Travellers Nest - Hotel in Guwahati - Kamrup Metro, India

Why was it poor?? Poor has more standard than those who run this place....specially that bald dude. We had a budget and went in but after the formalities He was literally crying out for rs.100 but since we couldn't afford it coz of budget he started shouting like a madman for rs.100. No respect for customers. I recommend finding some place better than this.

Most unprofessional The most unprofessional and poor quality Oyo rooms I had come across. The reception staff was extremely non cooperative, the hotel staff had no training whatsoever. The room had blood stained dirty sheets and blankets used pillow and blanket. Desk phone was not working. The bathroom tap was broken. On top of all this they couldn't calculate the food bill on check out, the prices mentioned in the menu had no relevance. A kaccha handwritten slip was given as the food bill. Not sure what makes it eligible to be a Oyo room. A regular inspection of this hotels is strongly suggested.

Worst experience at a hotel ever. The lady who runs this hotel is busy preaching moral ethics rather than focusing on being customer friendly. She claims consumption of alcohol is not allowed inside the premises of the very room that you paid for. We left behind something precious and we called her an hour later to inform. The manager said he'll keep it with himself and we went back a couple of days later to collect but apparently there are children at her place so she threw it away. If you're planning to visit there with your friends or you're an un-married couple, i'll strongly support you abstain if you don't want to have and deal with moral policing.

I book thru goibibo from 20 to 24 Oct 2019. When I reached the hotel I had to wait for about 2 - 3 hours since there was no empty rooms.. Service is pathetic... No courtesy to ask what we require.. Even water bottle i had to order... Requested for breakfast at 8 to 8.30 am but they didn't gave us, when inquire the staff they complained that they are not cook but we did everything... There was no one at the reception counter whenever I went.. This one star is for the room as it is newly build.. But I would rather give zero if possible..

Oyo is the largest application in india to gat any hotel. Its service is highly appreciated. I personally use this apps. Thats really a awsome apps. If anyone go in india i recommend that for use oyo apps. Its really very helpful apps and you can get good quality home stay in a cheap rate.

The staff, especially the woman in charge, made us wait for an hour because she apparently couldn't find our booking. When we finally got through to Oyo customer service and they asked for her email, she had to call up her daughter in order to find it. After almost 90 minutes, when she got the confirmation mail form Oyo itself, she refused to let us in and demanded an extra Rs500 because she wouldn't be making enough profit at the rate Oyo offered us. I even have a video of her saying this because she has no idea of how technology works. I'm going to speak more on this but that's it for now.

Shameless people are running this oyo. Highly inconsiderate of their neighbours. No waiting lobby or parking facility have forced their guests to park their vehicle in the streets which is an inconvenience for the entire neighborhood. They should be shut down.

The room is small if you want complete privacy then better go to different place ,this place is usually best for short stys but if couples then advise is better searched for other.
