OYO 10694 Hotel Royal Inn - Hotel in Shimla - Shimla, India

It's ok place to stay, local staff is polite and helping. Only basic amenities are available like bed, blanket, geyser. Biggest issue with people travelling by car is no parking available and the way to reach need quite strength to reach via steep stairs. You need to pay 400 per night parking charges. No room heaters n minimal cleanness of laundry,

The room is ok,but not maintained properly. There's no pool view deluxe room. As i able to get balcony facing room,can have mountain valley view. But there're so many monkey in the area,u can neither sit in the balcony nor keep balcony doors open. To prevent the monkey the owner could hv installed safety jalli in front balcony,but there's no such jalli provided. I've to inform the receptionist many times as there was cut-off of water supply in the washrooms. The fooding was ok,but kitchens don't seem so clean. The blankets, bedsheets aren't properly cleaned. I asked staff to provide clean bedsheet and blanket,but those're also little dirty. They'ld provide electric kettle in rooms,but no such facility. I asked the staff to provide me luke warm drinking water,but I didn't get. The window curtains are not clean. I had to ask them to clean the washroom properly with phenyl/phenolic cleaner,but those're not proper. Oyo should mention room detail with booking,as they give any available room

It was extremely disgusting, the hotel is at a very very unhygienic place and rooms had an unpleasant smell. Even water was not available for daily pursuits. Drinking water was kept is a very dirty jug. Due to above situation, We had to check out within 1 hour and change our hotel. We just wasted our money on it.

If you are traveling by bike or rented car to this place, god bless you. This place says parking available in app, but you have to park the vehicle around 200mts away from stay. And guess what, no one comes to assist you with lugguage, you have to carry those all the way to this stay, climbing innumerable staircase steps. And additionally, with all the monkeys around, they literally ruined my bike with spreading all garbage and food items where I had parked vehicle. Only good thing is, this place is at walkable distance to mall road and room was good. Rest everything was a mess. Never ever gonna come back to this place.

Too much far have to climb like another 2 km. Service too much poor they have huge water issue. While recieving guest they convey like u won't get water issue. But once u enter they don't care. After calling they said u can vacate in the morning. No business humour.

First of all be prepared for a treasure hunt as the location is difficult to find but that could've been excused if the services would have been good but that's not the case. While there's no AC, they don't even give a fan so you're basically depende on the environment. For some weird reason you can't wash your clothes and since they haven't covered up their balconies you can't even keep them open as monkeys might come in. On the last day of our trip, we asked for warm water at 7:30AM and we waited for it till 8:15AM and even then they couldn't give it . Forget about the breakfast. Apart from the view, everything was below average. God only knows why it is on OYO Flagship.

Its a long walk from the lift and the service isnt that good. Food is quite expensive if you order into your rooms. overall I feel you can get hotels much closer to the lift at a similar price and obviously get more fluent service.

Charged illegally Rs500 for room heater. OYO Representatives confirmed me while booking that heater will be provided with no extra cost. Hence cancelling all my existing booking with OYO.
