It was awful. The butter chicken was undercooked with visible blood stains, resulting in a highly unpleasant and sickening experience. Customers concerned about Halal hygiene will undoubtedly regret visiting this place.

What an amazing restaurant this! We just chanced upon New Light Restaurant today. It's cuisine and hospitality became the perfect start to our stay in Sopore. On top of it, Imran turned out to be a great host and friend in the restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant to everybody visiting Sopore. It's truly awesome! Imteeaz Kacho, Kargil

The worst service I have ever seen. They are not giving any value to customers. I visited their & asked for packed order & they tell me to wait for 20 minutes but unfortunately took 45 minutes that too for just chicken tikka. Not recommending this. Worst, worst & worst.

First time we visited Sopore and this was the restaurant we went to. Food was great although needs improvement but it was high above our expectations. Staff is courteous and interiors are good. Overall a nice and cozy place to have a good time with your friends.

Please be very cautious when ordering any non-vegetarian dishes. My experience with the restaurant was terrible. I ordered butter chicken, and while eating, I found a significant amount of blood coming out of the chicken. It was disgusting, and I felt extremely disappointed with the restaurant.

A Lovely restaurant on the outskirts of the town called Sopore in Kashmir valley. They served Wazwan. Dishes Tabab Maas, Yakhni, Gutava, Rogan Josh, Tomato Paneer and Haaq were just awesome. I had a great experience with the food quality, cleanliness and service. The coffee was great as well. A must visit place

I ordered a birthday cake (order No 1263) whe;n I went to collect the cake, the attendant held a chocolate disc in his hand, completed covered by his palm. He argued that his hands were not dirty. By then he had touched almost all the surfaces at the shop. He was unapologetic and had no idea of safe handling of food. When I reported this to the owner (over phone), he supported the staff and explained that he could have not used his feet instead. A complete unawareness of food hygiene with a topping of arrogance and callousness.
