N.M.A.M. Institute of Technology Engineering school

A great institution run by a great management. This has always been one of the top engineering colleges in coastal Karnataka atleast for the last 35yrs or so. Awesome campus. Dedicted staff. Canteen is nice. There is also a Ganpati temple inside. Have only fond memories associated with this institution. Very close to the heart.

If you just want to get placed with a good package, go for it. There are good lecturers. But there's something missing. What if I told you I haven't written a single project report being a CS engineer. My final year project was just a copy from GitHub. The only project I enjoyed and felt engaged in was my computer graphics project. The lecturer PK ( if you know you know ) was very interested and gave good feedback and instructions. The rest of the faculty didn't care at all. I would also like to highlight my ML Lecturer who did not know a thing about ML and yet managed to blabber something. In conclusion: Quality is inconsistent and they don't care about individual performance. Life in this uni is depressing.

College provides good quality education with practicality. Moreover this college have become an university. Decent placement is ensured here. To know the college crowd more you need to attend incredia, the college fest.

N.M.A.M. Institute of Technology (NMAMIT), full name Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya Memorial Institute of Technology, is an autonomous engineering college in Nitte, Karnataka, India. It was established in 1986, with programs in computer science, mechanical engineering, civil engineering and electrical engineering. Currently it offers B.E. in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Biotechnology Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer & Communications Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Robotics & Artificial Intelligence. The college is run by the Nitte Education Trust, which was founded in 1979 by Justice Kowdoor Sadananda Hegde, former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and former Speaker of the Lok Sabha. The college is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. It received the autonomous status in 2007-08 The college is situated in the village of Nitte in an interior area of Udupi district. It is around 57 km (35 mi) from Mangalore. The various departments, laboratories, and hostels are located on a 100-acre (0.40 km2) campus.

Good college to pursue engineering

A very beautiful campus. Serene working environment. Attended a 2 days workshop here. staff are very helpful friendly, with very good subject knowledge. Highly respectable environment. Good to study here.Very good library. supportive environment, very good ambiance. In the midst of nature.

One of the best colleges that I know is the NMAMIT in Karnataka. The college offers a wide range of both UG & PG programs with low cost & affordable fees. The institution has well-qualified and experienced faculty members who follow effective teaching methodologies which enhance the leadership, communication and other soft skills, which are vital for success in one's career. Happy to share that last year, my daughter has completed her UG here and placed in ABB. Right from the first day of her college, this college has been guiding / mentoring students through various activities like guest lectures from alumni & industry experts, student clubs etc. So she often acknowledges that this college meets most of the student's expectations. We highly appreciate the students support services and placement cell services, which I never seen anywhere. Only thing, this college is little far away from Mangalore city, but well-connected to public transport. Overall, on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the highest), I would rate 9 for Nitte College. Wholeheartedly we are very much thankful to the college management for the services provided and we highly recommend this college to future leaders. It is important for people not to get biased by the negative comments. One must do the fact finding in order to know about the actual quality of the services. Kudos to Nitte!!!
