I have visited mgm beach resorts as a part of my office's engagement activity. The amenities, games and other activities were all good. The problem was with the toilets. We were more than 20 in number and everyone faced the same issue. The toilet sink didn't drain well. The basin sink didn't drain well too. Even after 5 to 6 flushes it's not drain, we waiting for long to use toilet one by one, it did the same way. I personally believe that this is a very important part of personal hygiene. It was supposed to be a very fun part. But it actually was very stressing. Please please please book your rooms only after checking these amenity. It turned out to a terrible experience.

I booked a deluxe room to stay for a day with my family. It was an ultimate experience. It has enormous space and is very beautiful. Closer access to the bay of bengal (beach), swimming pool, games and activities room for both kids and adults, so many hammocks across the place to enjoy the nature and cool sea breeze and more. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Room services are super cool and all the resort people are prompt and responsive. From my view it's a go-to-place for rejuvenate and recharge before you resume to your machine life from the holidays.

The hotel offers great hospitality and all staffs are very caring and diligent in their duties from reception to manager to restaurant staff, house keeping and life guard staff. There was a minor issue which was promptly addressed much beyond our satisfaction by the Manager, Mr. Kaushik. The open air sea side restaurant is a great place to enjoy evening dinner and is a major attraction of the resort. Souvik provided great service while serving dinner to us.

It is really nice place to stay with kids..Staff is friendly ...Stay is pleasant... Cottage are nice...other Room are bit small bt clean..Dining by the beach is so relaxing... Cottages and rooms are near beach so you don't have to walk more...food is nice..Though they have little option in veg...Though they are ready to accept feedback and make changes...

The location and the beach view was pleasant. food taste is average. Rooms are not upto the mark for the hotel category. Room Maintenance need to be improved. Overall good if you avoid the rooms.

It was a pleasent stay at MGM beach resort. We had stayed for 4 nights and 5 days. The room was good. The housekeeper was really kind . His name was Ramakanta.He cleaned very well. There was also a welcome drink. Only the breakfast was complementary . The lunch and dinner price were too expensive . Other than that I found everything to be fine.

We booked a room by contacting the resort directly and we were offered with 12k inclusive of taxes. Booked by Friday and writing this review while at the room, before sleep. They renovated some cottages which is called as beach side. Of course it is just a view and you cannot exactly access the beach or shore. For 12k it was an average room that you might get it for 7 or 8k in other resorts in ECR. It is a brand and but still I felt not worth it. Moreover, you cannot reach the beach or shore as they are building walls and has no private beaches. After all, very average food at their restaurants. I would expect a good, tasty and better food at this standard. They all sounded like new to business when I complained. Huh, kind of ok but you'll feel that you are paying extra 3k to 4k for the room and the facility. Old times MGM is not what you could expect and still can enjoy the sea breeze and the atmosphere. They should definitely work on food quality. We stay at 108 number cottage and literally returned some food as it was half cooked. Hope this review should help others.. To add, mosquito issues even though they have repellent in the rooms.
