Maruthi Bhavan is well known for evening snacks varieties(bajji cauliflower chilli sweet paniyaram and for tea. Night dinner is good especially masal dosa.. parking is on busy road side only Area to be increased..

Positive experience .. Maruthi Bhawan .. Melaputhur ... ( belated post ) Today we three people went there for breakfast ... Tasted their Rava Dosai .. it was mild and nice .. mostly the sambhar & Kara chutney were top class too .. very fresh ... one Rava Dosai Rs45 .. so nominal Poori was the softest ... that kizhangu was thick , unlike what we see in a diluted format at many restaurants in trichy ... One poori piece Rs20 .. one of the best stuff today .. Vadai was for Rs8 ... though it was okay , it was not hot ... But a bit of disappointment was the idlis ... they were a bit hard and almost cold ... we told the waiter , at least to inform the customers before serving the cold food ... Anyhow managed with good hot sambhar ... one idli Rs10 Their Coffee was brilliant..Rs15 .. They have huge , dedicated customer base ... Overall positive experience .. ( except that Idlis ) ..

'Maruthi Bhavan' is a good restaurant near the head post office junction in Thiruchirapalli. The price is reasonable, and tea costs only 10 rupees here. Other shops are charging 12 or 15 rupees. The quality of the food is good, and the staff is polite and clean. It is the best choice for evening tea. Tea and vada is the best combination here.

I bought a Rava Dosa parcel for dinner and was shocked when I opened it after reaching home to notice that the rava dosa was fully black due to over cooking. I had to throw the same into the dustbin and go fasting for night. Callous attitude of the dosa master to allow dosa to become black and parcel person still packed and delivered without quality control mechanism. Management needs to wake up.

A small eatery with good food at reasonable prices. The place always has a rush and the service was also satisfactory. But however since it is located on the main road, literally there is no place to park. Overall good.

Good quality of food you can get here. The onion pakoda is their special dish always available. Prices are very moderate that the cost we give for the food is very worth. Tiffen items all are good and tasty. One thing they have to improve is the service of the suppliers. A Kind Suggestion is, Now a days the food quality is degrading, that the management have to take care of it so as improve or to sustain their business.

More variety .. more quantity and quality .. Budget price

Simple, cheap place for evening dosas, chappatis, parathas and the usual food. Small venue so it may be necessary to share a table. Waitress was nice and friendly although we struggled a little with the language barrier. All in all, a good meal for a very cheap budget.
