The place is mesmerizing. The feel is calm and phlegmatic. Brings out the inner peace. Fills your heart with peace. I was lucky to have visited the temple when there was almost no body there in. Usually, the peace and purpose of temple gets defeated when it's too crowded by people visiting the place for 'Religious Tourism' purposes. The temple, thankfully is not, yet, touched by the 'wave of concrete' hence it's peace is still maintained. The temple is neat and clean. It has basic minimum required facilities. Concrete steps to the mount. Paved and concrete flooring. That's all. Which is enuf to feel good fm infra point of view and enuf to allow you time to propitiate before the giant Shiva Idol (shivliNg). I was lucky that I was all by myself when I was before the Lord. Wish the place remains 'untouched' by the 'wave of development' of Religious places for 'tourism' purposes so that the true purpose of Spiritual Retreat of the temple is maintained and enhanced, amidst an encroaching sea of concrete. This is a very underrated temple. There are, Ganesh ji, Hanuman ji , Shivji and Shani bhagwan temples at one place. You have to climb around 500 steps for visiting the later three. The postive vibe from this place is so good you would fall in love with it. Total peace of mind. Om namah shivay.
A must visit place in town. You will be amazed to see the serenity of the place surrounded by greenery and cleanliness. Happy to see the overall development of the place as I have visited this almost after 10 long years. The temple management Committee has done a commendable job to preserve the place as it is with various facilities for the devotee. Don't forget to bring Pooja item from nearby shop at entry point of the temple as there is no shop at the top of the hill. Further it has more than 300 staircase to climb to reach top of the hill "Shiva Temple"so people with health issue may think accordingly.
