Kausthubhom Residency - Hotel in Thiruvanvandoor - Alappuzha, India

The residency staff and manager describe itself aptly as a "family residency". They steer clear of any anti-social elements and have a strict policy against smoking and drinking. The residency is situated right near the Thiruvanvandoor Temple, and is a few kilometres away from Chengannur. It is seemingly a new property and still expanding. The room was extremely neat and tidy, the staff was respectful, helpful and open to feedback. The surroundings were peaceful, quiet and green with nature. The food was homely and as per our description and feedback. Overall the stay was extremely comfortable. We had a chance to meet the owner of the residency and have a cheerful conversation with him. He made us feel like home. Only nitpicking would be that there was no lift in the building. While it was personally not a problem, my parents had to climb 3 floors of stairs to reach the room. However, the manager assured us that it is solely because this is a new property and the manager confirmed that there will be a lift within the next few months. The residency also provides laundry and ironing services. Would highly recommend to families planning a vacation and/or who want to have a quiet and peaceful time.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in Kausthubhom. The room was very spacious, neat and clean, and the amenities were of high quality. The in-house services and the hospitality of staff were of highly appreciable standard. The hotel is ideally located and away from all congestions, yet easily accessible from and close to all important tourist locations and business centres.

Kausthubhom Residency is one of the best hotels I have been to, rooms were well furnished, spacious, clean, comfortable n quality of amenities were great the overall ambiance was very cozy and comfortable!. location of the hotel is very peaceful, pleasant n family friendly atmosphere. The staffs are friendly and professional there service was excellent. Their support was incredible inspite of heavy rain and flood alert during checkin and check out process. i would definitely recommend this hotel for family and friends. Recently I had a stay along with my family in kausthubhom residency this is a place where you can have peacefulness very clam & quite atmosphere. Memories will be there. The staff they are very polite sincere. The amenities of the residency is upto the mark no doubt. I suggest this residency for families. Thank u.

A happy place , very calm environment, excellent staffs, excellent services, very great experience I will definitely suggest everyone to visit this place , safely is 100% , a female can stay all day and night , my husband had few meetings, so he had to leave me alone here and go for meeting, very safe place for females to stay. Mr Satish Kumar a gentleman was very helpful and they are very very professional. Ani Mathew very supportive staffs I really appreciate their efforts for the safe stay, Mrs mani Amma a great lady who is very great too. Mr abhishek who attended us in the night when we reached he is vedy vedy helpful, food to accommodation, arranging things he is a gentleman. Ladies n family 100% safe n great experience. "Great Stay " Had an over night stay at this place . The hotel has a serene location, pleasant and clean rooms , but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are staff . All the people are courteous and incredibly helpful . Food was good and getting hot bed tea at wee hours was a great privilege. Over all the stay was very enjoyable and shall highly recommend this hotel to all.

The rooms were very well maintained and comfortable. The staff were very courteous and helpful. This rooming house is about 4km from Chengannur town. Food and non alcoholic drinks are supplied on order basis. On the whole our stay at this place was good.
