Kanaklata Park & Rock Garden - Garden in Tezpur - Sonitpur, India

A beautiful place bt come during evening time, charge is 30 per person which a little high according to that place .Situated on the highest peak of Dhenukhana Hill. Can see the view of Tezpur as well as the river Brahmaputra. Lover's are hiding in the jungle which is really very bad to see when we come with family because the place was beautiful bt they are spoiling the place ..

it is on top of dhenukhanda hill, a mixture of tree and natural rock, on the bank of mighty river brahmaputra, has a statue of virangana kanaklata.The whole tezpur and river brahmaputra is visible from the park. you can spend two to three hours easily there. I really enjoyed here.

They have beautiful rocks , huge rocks just the place is little bit dirty as u can see empty water bottles all around the place . Usually the tickets are 10 per person but they charge 30 /- . It closes at 5 pm .There is a National Geophysical Research Institute inside the udyan ( park) .There is also a place or lab owned by Tezpur University

Have been there before and liked it a lot. Unfortunately it had closed by 4:30 pm. Though time on map shows 7 pm.

Beautiful place for visit. Communication is an issue although as it is situated far away from the city. The place is clean and green. View of the majestic Brahmaputra makes everyone spellbound.

One of the beautiful places to visit in Tezpur, though u have climb up by foot the little hill but it will be worthy enough... It has got some mesmerizing view of tezpur town from the top of the hill.. beautiful architecture of stone crafted perfectly by artisans.. one side covers the mighty brahmaputra river and one side covers the view of the town.... The beautiful structure of Sri Kanaklata adds to the beauty of the park. The cooling breeze can be peacefully experienced from the top while enjoying the mother nature. A good spot for all the tourists.

We are the people of Tezpur clean City, to see the place of Kanaklata Udyan road cleaning is necessary and street light is also necessary because the place is too isolated for unknown peaple.
