Kamlabai Sea Food Restaurant - Seafood restaurant in Mapusa - North Goa, India

I rated 3 stars for the ambience since the place does not have proper seating arrangement and customers have to get themselves a seat which is not welcoming. We ordered the special fish thali, paneer biryani and some juices - orange and watermelon,The fish was really juicy and yum, there were other assortments like prawns and shells

- Talking about food, this place is famous for seafood and yes the served fish was super fresh and up to the mark. - Mostly famous for fish thali's in the afternoon. - The sitting area is ok ok not so great, the don't have A/C sitting in the afternoon.. I guess it's available in the evening. - The place is crowded in the afternoon and it's very hot. - Coming to the staff, they have very less staff and the service is slow - Parking: you need to park ur vehicle on the road side.

After wanting to go here since many years we finally made it , the seafood is the best thing here , we tried the butter garlic prawns and masala calamari , they also have chicken options in which we had the crispy chicken which was also amazing. The food did not disappoint.

The food was excellent We had ordered King Fish/Iswan/Surmai thali and Chonak. Fish was fresh and delicious. The preparation was up to the mark. Need improvement in service and crowd management. Highly recommended for Authentic goan fish preparations.

Worst food quality. Had ordered prawns rava fry served without even cleaning prwans head and shells and even bangada rava fry was served over fried.. complaint raisen to owner behaviour was arrogant and said this is the way we always serve you can eat or go..

Staffs aren't friendly. The charge 50Rs for chutney which by default comes with Fish fry. Ambience is also not that great. It is fulfilled with the locals. Please check reviews before coming if you are not the locals and tourists. They don't even accept online payment. Card or cash

It was a bit difficult to find the location. Once you enter the restaurant you will see that the sitting arrangement is very basic as it is an old place . But let not the ambience influence you.The place is clean.The sea food here is lip smackinly delicious. Fresh fish, not too spicy and amazing flavours. The prices are reasonable. At other fancy restaurants you will pay double the price for the same dishes. Overall a great place for good seafood. Definitely visit the place if you want to indulge in eating and do not want a place with fancy vibes.

Rs 350 special Thali chonak.. 3 items of veg food.. mushroom, boiled egg masala, n fish items only dry prawns n. Curry.. Not at all worth 350.. Dt too on non AC.... Waste of money.. Disappointed....
