It was a wonderful experience. Exactly the same as all Indian coffee houses all over India. It was a nostalgic visit. The restaurant was neat, hygienic and brightly lit. Delicious wholesome reasonably priced food. Strong and perfectly prepared coffee. Service was prompt and the was hardly any wait for the food.
Indian coffee house one of the oldest cuisine to have your delicacies especially South Indian dishes. What I like is simply great and awesome food drinks served on your platter at most reasonable rates it is amazing to see the courteous staff well dressed in white Always smiling serving you with sumptuous quality dishes since many many decades . Visiting this place is always nostalgic for me as when I will I go to Sector 36 or Sector 17 Chandigarh it is a must prop for me and my family who have bonding with this place ever since our childhood perhaps one can easily say it is one of the oldest places serving South India.n dishes quality has never gone down
One of our favourite places to eat in Chandigarh and even though the decor is nothing to brag about they do have an old world charm. More importantly, the food was affordable, hygienic and delicious. They excel in South Indian dishes like dosa, uttapam, idli, vada and coffee et al. Their sambhar is especially good. It's a shame they're not in sec 36 any more.
Tried this cafe but the food wasn't upto the mark. I really like the cutlets and vada but dosa was very oily and uttapam too. The staff was very sweet and helpful.
Washrooms are not good for ladies and never will be it's the man who initiates to keep it clean same as women.

A Sunday afternoon cold enough to make you feel like cancelling all your outing plans and spend all your time with the winter specials - cozy warm bed and rajaai !! But then how could have I missed an exclusive lunch date my mom n dad that too when the planning was done 2 days in advance ! The warmth of family love surely raises the temperatures ! Melodramatic ? Naaa THE FACT So here we were.... Indian Coffee House Sector 36 outlet at around 2 pm despite the chilling cold and cloudy weather. With the elderly first thing you need is a parking near to the outlet and an easy entrance preferably without staircase - check . If you are looking for sassy cool ambience n the best of interiors - this place is not for you. Looking for good food - surely you should step in ! The outlet had quite a few customers - never seen it empty btw. Coming to the most awaited thing - the food ! Mom had booked her order with me 2 days n she relished the same - idli sambhar. Dad n I first ordered one of the most popular dish - mutton keema dosa. Has been the outlets' speciality for ages now. N it is definitely worth the hype. Second order was egg uttapam. But somehow there was miscommunication n they brought veg uttapam but were kind enough to replace with the correct order without a frown on their face. Egg uttapam tasted nice but the onions were a bit undercooked but tolerable. Coming to the pricing - the whole order was billed at Rs. 572/- so no need for any apps giving you all the discounts. No there was neither a calculation mistake nor any unbilled item !! Bill in INR 572/- n the happy look on mom dad's face - priceless ! Overall great food n an amazing lunch date with parents but forgot to click any memories. Girl n still no photo !! I know !! How on earth is it possible !! Btw you won't find any camera friendly space too. As I always say.....visit yourself n enjoy some gala time with friends/ family or even yourself.
