So bad we did had to move to a different hotel. Dangerous road to access the hotel, nowhere near the Mall Road. The hotel looked like a construction site. The room was dark, dirty and damp - nothing like the photos. They tried to move us to a different property even further away from the Mall Road. Complete scam - do not book.
The hotel is located at an excellent location, very calm and serene. It's just a 10-15 mins walk to the Mall road, although it's very steep but still walkable. Driving your car down the slope and moving out is kind of challenging, but the view is really amazing from hotel room, even while on bed you will wake up to beautiful scenery as soon you open your eyes. The host along with the other staffs were very helpful and polite. They are quick to respond to requests. It's a budget friendly hotel. The rooms are bit smaller, but they are cosy. The Service was excellent with free Wi-Fi, hot water and all the basic amenities. Hotel has an ample parking space. I highly recommend this place.
The hotel is located at great location close to nature and away from congested Mall Road. But you can reach Mall road just by walking 10-15minutes. I was there with a friend and we enjoyed the cozy, comfortable stay, the property was with a beautiful view. The owner Mr. Pravesh Anand was extremely helpful and guided us through our trip. The package is budget friendly and they also provide cab services for local site seeing and to other nearby spots.
First visit to Shimla Manali trip. It was very awesome and fantastic trip arrange by owner Mr. Anand Sharma and his team from pickup to hotel stay and sightseeing.Experience with this hotel is very class rooms and food is very very tasteful, Mr. Anand sharma is very cooperative person best trip planner with stay, cab also pickup, dropoff facility available & all spots view and sight seeing..... This was our first stay in Shimla. The Service was excellent with free Wi-Fi, hot water and all the basic amenities. The communication was great even before we arrived, we got all information we needed in prior. The hotel is located at an excellent location, very calm and serene. With some great views from the hotel room, even while on bed you will wake up to beautiful scenery as soon you open your eyes. The host along with the other staffs were very helpful and polite. They are quick to respond to requests, they also help in arranging cabs for site visits. Everything was very budget friendly. Had our best time in Shimla with Hanu Vatika and I highly recommend this.
DO NOT BOOK HANU VATIKA/TRISHUL B&B (new name, old ways) You might get a good rate. You might think it's near the mall. You might like the window-view videos. BUT when you get there you'll be in a damp, dingy, dark, cold, messy place. Deep down the hill, far away from the mall. You'll wonder why the surroundings are so cramped and unwalkable (see parking video)... and Anand will tell you that its because Hanu Vatika is in a housing colony. If you want a hill station, don't book here. My friends came to check-in and literally ran away... and the owners (Anand and partner) were least bothered. If they had stayed, I'm scared to think of the service they would get with this 'don't care' attitude at the top. Anand did not return even a bit of the full room rent for 3 rooms which I sent him in advance in good faith. So don't expect fairness from them either. The owners of Hanu Vatika are in the business for a quick buck from trusting first-timers who look at Google maps and believe their words. Better believe this review.
