Hotel Sai Gangotri - Hotel in Shirdi - Ahmednagar, India

Average hotel with basic amenities, they strictly abide by their checkin checkout timings , having travelled around the globe and stay d in multiple hotels, i couldnt understand why they would deny for half n hour early check-in even when the room is available. Anyways coming to the details. There was not water on bathroom upon check in. Had to wait almost half an hour. Only two small soaps provided in the name of toiletries. Rooms were not clean, could find hairs and dirt here and there. Bed linens were used and not cleaned. Bathroom fittings were broken. They didn't even cared to fill up the liquid soap dispenser in bathroom. Water jug is very very dirty. Overall doesn't recommend for the price. Look for others. The only good part is the vicinity to the temple and the bus stand but then there are lot of other hotels which is nearby the temple and bus stand.

The location of the Hotel is very idle and near to Bus Stand. Sai Baba Mandir is also at walkable distance. We didn't have food in hotel, as such not sure about Food quality. The rooms are OK but with old assessories. Bathroom has old tabs and the water was not draining out easily. AC was pathetic. It was making lot of noice and throwing only air (not cool air). It doesn't have any buttons. All adjustment buttons were damaged and internal panel was rusted. Our room doesn't have intercom. The cable connection was so poor that it cannot be fixed into the settop box. It doesn't have socket only two wires were plugged into socket. Linens are not clean. Before booking the hotel, we were informed that we will make early check-in at 4 am and will check-out on next day by 11 am. The hotel was agreed for the same without charging any additional amount. However on 1st day night when we came to hotel, the reception person told us that we need to check out at 5 am or else will have to pay 2nd days charges. Fortunately, I had print-out of hotel's confirmation which we showed to them. Still the receptionist was not allowing us to check-out at 11 am. Then after some time another Manager was on duty, whom we showed the print-out and he agreed to check-out us by 11 am.

Hotel is near Shirdi bus stand , also near to Sai Baba hospital, a bit away from core temple place which is good as there is less chaos and crowd. Buy very much walkable distance from Samadhi (main) temple ( a bit far if you are aged or Having joint pain arthritis). Hotel outer building is good but rooms are very much average , lift available hot water available morning 4 to 9 and warm all day I guess. For One night stay it's ok .

I am giving this hotel 5 star as their rooms are very clean , staff are very supportive and humble and they providing honest service.

really luxurious stay for family. good room service. hot water 24 hrs.temple is walking distance may be 10min.overall everything is nice..and also price is reasonable.

Manager was extremely helpful and he make sure we were happy while our stay... Not sure abt food but stay was too good in AC room. Worth for money...

Their is lotz of scope for improvement 1. Fan was making noise 2. Cockroach moving around room 3. LED screen damaged 4. Cupboard to keep cloth space insufficient and not clean. 5. Service for breakfast

Staff is good to help you but hotel is just good get refreshed. Romms & bathroom specifically needs to be cleaned & maintained. Location is good
