Hotel Pema Dzong - Hotel in Gangtok - East District, India

Worst hotel ever! The bedsheets and blankets had blood spots on it! Even the ones they claimed were newly washed had stains on it! The washrooms were hideous! We complained that there was no water to even use the flush, and the hotel management said use the water from the buckets! Even the taps didn't have any water!! PATHETIC experience!!!

That's the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Got a room in ground floor which was next to a liquor shop and the window wasn't closing properly so had to bear the irritating smell. Moreover there were problem for almost everything water, electricity, wifi--basically for all the basic necessities. Manager was not at all cooperative. Electric switch points were also not working properly. Only good thing is that it's very close to MG Marg and Tasi view point. So one can explore main gangtok market and places nearby without any hassle.

I booked this hotel through OYO and my booking was confirmed and payment done 1 month before the checkin. Upon arrival I was denied accomodation and although the issue was resolved(*without any compensation) by OYO but staff behaviour was pathetic. Pictures shown are not true and rate is extremely high. There are many good hotels nearby and I stayed in Hotel Galaxy. Just around 50m from there. There are other hotels also according to the price. The staff is fraud in hotel Pema Dzong. I would have given negative rating if possible. Plus never book through OYO, if you did cancel it, many people have requested OYO to blacklist them.

It's a budget hotel located at 2 min walk from MG Marg, 5 min from Ropeway.We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The manager and his staff are polite and very helpful. The food served was good as well. .

Hotel is in dilapidated stage, zero maintenance, service executive is rude and inhospitable. The entrance has a steep road which is not recommended for senior citizens or kids. Added after their response: Proof of poor behaviour in their response to this review. Also they can't deny the steep road.

Worst hotel ever.. FOA doesn't know how to talk with guest.. They don't have any facilities not even a minor things.. No telecom, no heater, No fan, no cattle, no geaser.. Room is not properly clean always smelling.. They should shut down their hotel as soon as possible..

Wash basin was not clean and behind and under the bed there was lots of dust . Other wise it is good to stay . Staff are friendly and the owner is really good person

Very Nice service and I m very thankful to hotel pema Dzong to help us in very difficult situation and give us great hospitality and neat and clean room tasty unlimited food and we have stayed here for 6 nights and experience high level of service compare to other hotels of gangtok. We highly recommend to any person to stay in this hotel in Gangtok
