I stayed in this hotel with my family from 14th May, 2017 to 16th May, 2017. It is a home stay like hotel. It has only 5 rooms. We took 2 rooms on the first floor. Location was good near kalimpong College, though little away from the main market area but not too far away. Rooms were considerably large, cozy and have balcony from where you can get a good view of kalimpong and surroundings. Rooms have all basic amenities like TV, attached bath with geyser. The food was fresh but option was limited. They supply only breakfast and dinner but no lunch was supplied. You have to order 3/4 hours before to get food. Staff were well behaved and service were prompt. Overall it was a wonderful stay and I recommend it to all.
It's a good place to stay at Kalimpong. Rates are average, not so costly. From the main market or police station Kalimpong it will take 12 minutes walk to reach the hotel. Hotel location is very good. Anyone can enjoy sunrise n sunset from this hotel.
the experience is awful. we checked in the hotel at 12 Noon on 11 June 2013, to start with there was no person to guide the route, after a great set of difficulties we reached the lodge there was no bell boy to transfer our luggage the lodge presented a great picture over the internet but the same was only a mere eyewash as the requirement of ventilation was strongly felt. thanks to the poor arrangements for the mosquitos that i am writing the review at 10:45 PM instead of sleeping.
I have been there for 2 nights. great view from porch. Its not like tradition hotel. Its a rest house for its owner. well decorated. usually kalimpong is a rack free place and this hotel is amazing.
An above average hotel. More of a bungalow rather than a hotel. A bit away from the main town and the crowd. The view from the rooms is good. Food availability is a bit of a problem thou they make arrangements for it.
A good and cozy place to stay in if one is traveling to Kalimpong. For families also it's a nice place for vacation. Not too far from the Kalimpong market too.(also known as 10 mile market)
