HOTEL GAGAN DEEP - Hotel in Haridwar - Haridwar, India

Location:-First of all the photos of this hotel might be old or animated It's not at all looking like this , There is a dump area in front of this hotel and a railway track beyond that . Located just near Mansa devi temple ropeway and walking entry gate,so you have to push the crowd and reach your hotel.Since it's a temple, the place is crowded all the time ,there is no other way to reach the hotel .At a point of around 400 Mt ;vehicles not allowed so you have to carry your own luggage and reach the hotel. Rooms:- Bed and bedsheet were in good condition,but untidy windows and doors were not properly locked ,there is a gap beneath door for entry of mouse easily. Bathrooms were untidy , no jet spray/faucet , geyser works properly. No shampoo,no soap,no toothpaste. Service:- Staff is very supportive and manages to help you adjust the luggage , we asked them to change the bedsheets and blanket ,they changed.Anytime we needed help they were ready to listen peacefully and help us in whatever way they can.

Worse room and location. You can't get any taxi from station or bus stand. Taken hotel from makemytrip in Rs. 2050/- for one night but found totally waste of money when view room. Lift also not work properly.

Never book this. I tried to call the property. I received response wrong number. Coz of that I had to cancel my booking also I had to pay the cancellation charges to vendor Agoda. Never use such unverified cheap hotels via useless apps. My experience was so bad with online booking yous can also be worst too. Google should not allowed such properties as rated.

Location is good but rooms are small as compared to price. Rooms are not much neat and clean

This hotel is very out of the main road of hardwar. The rooms are very small. We booked delux room but got standard single room with double bed and when asked they provided one extra bed. things are messed up here. Think twice before booking here. You won't find any transport nearby.

Well this is good for a solo traveler only who would check-in to get a sleep, take a bath, visit ganga ma and leave. For somebody like me travelling with family is a disaster. I booked 2 nights here, one using make my trip and the other night here with goibibo. Before booking I called the hotel on the number provided at their website. And I was told that its only the deluxe room which is small in size, but super deluxe is more spacious and an extra mattress can be provided to be used by a child. But where in that room would you put the extra mattress. There was no space for that. So maybe the management was lying about the space for the room or I was slammed a deluxe room in place of a super deluxe. In both the case it is something which would make anyone go mad. I checked in and checked out just after couple of hours. Just think about this, when you reach hotel you are tired and expect some rest, but what you get is room in which you can't breath and get busy searching for the hotel again in the heat. How does it feel that you have lost your money onto some thing which is going to give bad start to your travel plan. So we are talking about a hotel with no space, no restaurant, bad room service, no amenities, no network coverage(i was using vodafone and airtel), no wifi (there is wifi but I was getting the speed of about 12kbps, as good as no wifi), bathroom like rooms and dirty toilets. please don't go to this hotel. hotel needs to understand they have to offer better service.

Location wise the hotel is excellent it is near to the Ganga River from where the rickshaw wala takes around 10 rupees per person to reach the hotel. The hotel did not have it's own food or restaurant all the food that was served here was bought from outside and was good in quality and taste. From the railway it takes a little time due to traffic on the gateway road to reach the hotel but its a good hotel overall and the services are also prompt. The hotel is overall a quite good property maintained.
