Food quality has dropped since few years the mutton and rasa are not like what it used to be prior needs to retain that again hotels needs to stick with just thali rather than making menu big and going for fish, biryani,rotis which are affecting it's speciality that is the thalis and the rasa

Awesome thali we had here. Loved the taste of Daulat special mutton thali. The meat was succulent and nicely cooked. They also give chicken kheema in it. Loved their pandhra and tambda rassa. Would surely recommend this one for mutton thali lovers.

Went here on a Sunday and oh boy! It is located in the heart of kolhapur city, away from the main road and one needs to reach here through a narrow path. You can easily miss it if you aren't aware of its existence, and that's what makes this place a hidden gem. It is situated in a residential zone, yet it was bustling with crowd. People were coming here in groups of 8 and 12! It was crazy. Families are apparently given priority seating, and I felt lucky having brought my mother along. Other people had to keep waiting longer lol. The service was homely and comforting. The seating arrangement was modest. We tried the Daulat special mutton thali. It tasted amazing, and carried the authentic and traditional kolhapuri taste. Not sure why we didn't get fried fish, i only came to learn about that later after reading reviews. Still, the portion was good and tambda pandhra rassa was so good! I ate to my heart's content. Liked the solkadi as well. The price is pocket friendly. However, the experience of eating here is priceless. Will definitely come here again. There is less space for parking so you may want to plan accordingly. Must visit place for people craving kolhapuri mutton and tambda pandhra rassa. This restaurant is clearly loved by kolhapurkars.

I have eaten in many indian restaurants and this is one of the best I have tried. - it was superb and truly authentic ! The service was very friendly and efficient, easily coping with our large party of 12. Food arrived piping hot and in good time. The menu contains a good number of house specialities which are a cut above the normal menu offerings. I tried one of these and it was delicious. The restuarant was clean - could do with some redecoration but this was nothing serious. I loved this place and fan of this place from last 7-8 years, No change in Taste, quantity, Quality and most important smile on owner / waiter's face. This is True Kolhapuri Food joint and must try dish is there Signature Daulat Special Thali along with Fried Fish. Give Try !! you wont regret!!
