Hotel Akash Sarovar - Hotel in Purulia - Purulia, India

Rooms are very good with modern facilities including mini refrigerator. The only thing that needs urgent attention is cleanliness of washrooms. It is situated in prime location at Saheb bandh having easy accessibility by roads. Presence of offices like Zilla Parishad, Municipality offices making it an instant choice for night stay during official visit. The otions of breakfast items needs improvement in terms of quality and variety.

very bad experience. dirty water came from bathroom tap. room also smell bad. several time informed to the staff but they didn't do anything. very rude behaviour of staff after told them about dirty water. they don't provide suppliment water for hand wash or mouth wash. pathetic experience. they charged compartive higher tariff, after that we experienced this pathetic situation. my suggestion to all tourist, don't go this hotel.

I went to the restaurant of akash sarovar for dinner. The food is good, you will get value for money but the service provided is pathetic. At first when we entered we were not been attended, neither we were shown a place to sit ... After calling the waiter we had to wait for him to come and assist us... The waiter's there will over look you and keep doing there buisness. Food is good Service need improvisation

We spend here quality time and enjoy ourselves. This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Purulia. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meals. Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite, wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to eat

Visited there 2 weeks ago. The location was good but the rooms were badly maintained. Washroom taps and showers were malfunctioning. Drainage system of the washroom was very poor. Buffet breakfast had only 2-3 options and quality was very poor. Staff were not courteous.

I basically had very high hopes about this hotel. The location is such that you get a magnificent view of the large pond just on the other side of the road. The pond fills up with lotus flowers in the season time. Now when I stayed there I got a reality check. From the out side the hotel looks modern and magnificent but the story changes right when you enter the rooms. The room has ample amount of space nearly 300 sqf with a bed that was of 15 to 20 years with its back rest's leather all cracked up, a broken luggage table,empty wine bottles in the drawers, smelly bathroom and moderately neat bedsheets. I just hope they hire a good architect right away to revive the hotel or else it will be just known for it's restaurant. Now coming to the breakfast spred or should i even say it's a spread because breakfast only had 3- 4 items and mango and banana as the only fruits. Check the photos for more info.

I have visited here more than once but only for food. I know nothing about the lodgings. The food here is pretty delicious. The staffs here are very cordial too. Once we ordered chicken fried rice and some chicken items, it was amazing. But recently I went there for Chinese, it didn't meet my expectations. I couldn't finish. There were mutton choppings that were smelling like raw. I wanted prawns but there was none. We also ordered chicken hariyali kabab which was pretty decent.

We had been there both for restaurant and party receptions. Food prepared in both of these cases are much different. They prepare good food for restaurant but on the other hand if you throw a party there, their preparation style and food taste changes odd. They also work slowly and inefficiency if you don't keep monitoring them.
