Hornbill Resort - Swimming Pool - Resort - Hotel in Bamhni - Balaghat, India

I visited this place for overnight stay, I found it ok for solo and friends.

Had a great experience at Hornbill Resort, Kanha kesari. Cheap yet good. The swimming pool was clean. The tents were also clean and tidy. Ample Parking space available. Staff is also helpful and responsive. And also the owner is a nice guy.

No word can describe how worst this resort is. Guys,friends and future traveller please don't ever think of staying at this place. Below are list of dirtiest experience i had. 1: Room was provided which was not shown... 2: Bathroom was flooded with logged water. drainage pipe was not working. 3: No hot water was provided through gap. Upon several complaints they told that they would change the room. But when we came back from evening safari they told they did not shift our luggage. We shifted our luggage ourselves. 4: All staffs are illiterate, unprofessional,unhygienic. They even don't know how to work. 5: There is no interconnected telephone. All the time i used to go to their reception room to order or complain. 6: No room cleaning and no basic amenities were provided. Used towel was provided.Up on several request, they changed;but towel was not good. 7: It was 31st December 2017, and when we go for dinner we found they were all busy with other young guys who were drinking with loud speaker on, we asked for our dinner, but no one attended and left us waiting for 1.30 hours of time. Then when i started shouting then one guy came and arranged a table and served our food. That guy was also drunk. 8: Everyone was drunk who were working on behalf of this resort. 9: This resort does not have a BAR permit, but they managed alcohol from outside and provided to them. 10: Food quality was average. Normal Daal fry, roti, sabji, Chicken etc available. 11: Breakfast is also as usual. ... 14: Overall rating should be -5*....

This resort is unique in many ways, the best one being no artificial landscaping. It's the best option for bachelor get togethers and hangouts. The swimming pool indeed is the centre of attraction. The tents here are best options and are preferably better than the suite rooms available. The only downside is the food here which is not upto the mark specially the non veg options.

The owner of the resort was creating nuisance for guest by singingg aloud on speakers, taking customers for granted "you have nohwere else to go in this forest attitude" and service was rock bottom, despite making a living on hospitality was anything but a good host. taps leaking. bed sheets untidy, food pathetic for get tasty not hygienic. his loud speakers and cheap noisy singing as if mandatory robbed the serenity of the forest adjoining spoiling the mood of the guests. if you are planning avoid this place.

These resort is good. These place is also good but there was not room service . Food is medium. And thank you.

Staff is cooperative and well behaved unlike many other resorts on kanha . Swimming pool is just ok ,food was great , 5 star for staff and 4 star for others

A very honest review.... Food was good but when it is raining light goes and water leaks frome ceiling and everytime voltage goes down A/C doesn't works tv doesn't works sorry but a very bad thing about resort
