It's been 6 weeks now since I had laser pilonidal cyst surgery with Dr. Laxman Salve and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Surgery Timings: The surgery was efficiently scheduled at Apollo Spectra, and I was well-informed about the process. It took 20 minutes to perform the surgery. He has a tie up with multiple Hospitals in Mumbai where operations are performed. This Clinic is just for consultation and Dressings after surgery. Return to Work: Dr. Laxman Salve provided clear guidance on when it was safe for me to return to work which was the very next day for me, I was hospitalized for 24 hrs. only. In fact, I would have return to home after 2-3 hrs. of surgery but due to Mediclaim process 24 hrs. of hospitalization was required. Follow-up Care: It usually take 6 weeks to heal the wound and I was suggested 5 follow-up appointments. Post-Surgery Precautions: Dr. Laxman Salve offered valuable advice on post-surgery care, specially taking a rich fiber food and how to do dressing, making sure I understood how to take care of myself to prevent complications. Pricing: The entire surgery process cost was covered in my health insurance. In pre and post operative care I spend around 15K in cash. In my opinion he is 30% more costlier than other's. But anyway, it is worth it for the professional care and results. I highly recommend Dr. Laxman Salve for pilonidal cyst surgery.
