Desert Boys Guest House - Hotel in Jaisalmer - Jaisalmer, India

Seems like one of the best places to stay within the fort in Jaiselmer. View is great (both city and fort view) from the rooms, terrace and restaurant. Tried only basic Indian food. Was decent. Beautiful rustic interiors. Rooms are pretty, air conditioned with a good bed. Owners and staff are quite nice and polite. They arranged early morning pick up from the station. Very easy to roam in and around the fort on foot. Overall great stay. Absolutely recommend it.

Excellent place to stay, you can see a beautiful sunrise leaning on your bed, please request for jhulewala room if available, it's full of antic items, best room in the entire guest house. You will just love the room. Food is also very good at reasonable price. Staff is also good. Owner of the guest house is also a wonderful person.

Desert Boy's Guest House is a beautifully decorated guesthouse, perfectly located on the fort wall. From the rooms and the restaurant you have a nice view of the castle. As guests you have the option to eat and relax on the roof top instead of the restaurant which gives you an even more astonishing view of the entire city. Anil, the guesthouse owner is a super friendly and helpful man, who cares for all your needs no matter what, you only need to ask.

Got to meet the owner- super chill and professional. We stayed here through Airbnb and it was an amazing experience. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway stay in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan- Inside of the Fort. Food on point, location was prime, and the staff went above and beyond. Very good location. Great view. Staff behaviour good. Good food. But Room service should be better. Toilet should be cleaner.

We did not stay in the hostel but went there to see the sunset and have some drinks. Place is great and views are amazing. We found very interesting to talk to some staff members and got to know more about the Indian culture. We ordered pizza and it was also very good. Highly recommended.

Did not like the treatment. They differentiate between in house and outside vistors to restaurant. Amazing view of city and the palace from restaurant terrace. Nice ambience. Toilet was very dirty. Food expensive and taste just ok. I was not given hot honey ginger tea inspite of request. Requested for little late serving of main course. However, all given immediately even before we finish our starters. Casual treatment. Unprofessional staff. Can go only for the views.
