Nice place. Clean and chill water. Went on a Friday(sep 8th) and had the falls just to our family. Felt a bit remote but later a small crowd came when we started returning. Forest guards were there, so no need to worry about safety. You need to walk around 750 m from the parking which is a bit uphill and there is no road at the last stretch. Could be difficult for the old. Entry fee : 30 per head Car parking : 50

From the parking to falls approx 1km to walk. Low water due to Summer. Travel with Food and snacks handy. And If we keep the place clean, Appart from all better place to visit

Excellent spot for one day trip from Madurai. No proper parking facility available. Have to walk more than 1 Km for falls. Heavy rain when we visited no place/shed to hide.
Very worst water falls there is no facility for parking and not safe environment restrict the four wheelers 600m before the waterfalls then how come public will come roads are good but not allowing Tamilnadu tourism and locals there is very worst. Try to do good things for public for that reason we elected you....
Keep yourself early here by 10 or 11. Just a walk on road after check point for 3-4 kms. Lot of monkeys there don't carry important stuffs. Enjoyed the waterfall massage a lot.

Having an good experience of nature with climate, dam, lake , view point etc., At night time we can see puma, elephant as well. People's over there were friendly manner and good stay and safety with families and friends .
