The fish fry from here is one of the best I have ever had in my life itself. Many highly hyped places doesn't live to the hype but this shop is an exception. My favourite here is the fish fry, they have some special masala which makes the fish fry so yummy that it's literally finger licking or biting level. The place is still in the old fashioned way itself and there is no luxury available. The pathiri and fish fry is great combination too.

The truth is that you will really like perfectly cooked fried fish, fish fried rice and fish curry. Many guests consider the staff efficient. This restaurant is notable for its spectacular service. As a number of visitors remark, the atmosphere is homey

A must try food destination. Peaceful ambience, friendly service and delicious dishes. Tried their puzhuk, kai pathiri and poricha pathiri with Tuna and Ayala fry. Also tried chicken roast. Kai pathiri is so good to eat with puzhuk. Taste of Poricha pathiri was unexpectedly great. Fish fry was just amazing. The masala was a perfect blend. Fish fry is a must to have with puzhuk. To me, the show stealer was the chicken roast . Had never tasted this type of flavour before. Truely amazing.

Fish specials. Tasted aikoora(kingfish), tuna, koonthal( squid), puzhuk( a combination of tapioca and other tuber roots), and meals. Fish dishes were so tasty that i ve ordered it multiple times, not to mention the excellent taste of all side dishes provided with the meals. Puzhuk was served with pathiri that was also so delicious. At the end, they serve you moru curry( a curry made out of butter milk) which winds up the whole journey of delicacies exciting our taste buds. I ll surely visit the place again

Nestled in the heart of Kerala's food city Calicut, this typical village eatery is a delightful spot for food enthusiasts. I heard a lot about this place and recently visited here. We reached there at 3.40 and they were about to close the shop. We had, what was left there. The food is tasty and has a homely feel. As everyone mentioned, the best part is the nostalgic route and that old ambience of the shop. Google map shows the direction still there is a chance to get diverted to the wrong direction, so watch all direction boards they have kept in all narrow junctions.

Must must visit place while in Calicut.The fish is so fresh and tasty, literally drooling while writing this review. I was surprised to see so many varieties ready even at 830 in morning and place was bustling with people. It's very economical even after ordering so much.
