A very nice place to stay in Gangtok. If you want to spend quality time with nature and love the quiescent, this place is highly recommended. But those people love the crowd this location is not recommended as this place is located around 3 kM away from MG Marg. Though within 5 minutes a local taxi with decent cost can be arranged by the stuff. Rooms 10/10 Location 10/10 Service 10/10 Food 10/10 Cleaning 9/10 This is my recommendation after visiting 9th and 10th June.
The hotel is bit far from MG Marg. In cab drivers will charge you approx 300 rs. so not advisable wo want to stay near MG marg. The hotel is approx 6-7km far from MG marg. otherwise the staffs are good, rooms are tiny but cozy. Foods are good. As a family I never felt insecure here. And the view from the Room is amazing. for nature lover ideal hotel to choose.
The rooms were clean and the ambience is good but the location is deep in the forest. You have to pay a huge sum to get to MG Marg. Staffs were good but they weren't cleaning the dinning area properly, water jugs had flies in them. They would charge exorbitant price for food and quantity is very less. The complimentary breakfast was just bread and butter, not even boiled eggs. Not worth the money I have spent.
Great location. We really loved the character of the hotel. The restaurant was fantastic and staff was friendly and helpful.Great location, easy to get in and out of the city. The staff was wonderful. The hotel is well maintained. The beds were very firm, The food was good. I, especially, enjoyed the hills and the scenic beauty, surrounding all over.... The property was good with good rooms and good view. But the only thinking lacking was when i had come there was no proper breakfast. There was only one person who was managing the whole hotel including, housekeeping and kitchen and cause of that the breakfast was not good at all. Got served burnt toast. No dinner too so we had to go sll the way to mg marg just to have dinner. I think the hotel needs more staff to run the hotel other than that its a very nice property and the stay was very peaceful.
Been there last winter, beautiful place to stay. Nice ambient, homely food and mesmerizing mountain view. Staffs were very humble and helpful, they even arranged our permit and transport to North Sikkim. I highly recommend this place
