Had a really bad experience at Azad star today. As a frequent visitor to azad vazhuthakad, i expected the same quality and service from the azad located at MOT. but it turned out to be a disaster. We ordered basic chappati , naan and paneer butter masala , but our order was delayed by a long time. By the time the food came our appetite was long gone . The worst part was the dishes were worst. Chappati was half cooked and paneer butter masala was too loose and watery with 6 cubes of paneer, in a dish priced 295. It was a total disaster. Never visiting the place again.

Update: Visited again, one of the best restaurants in tvpm . One of the best restaurants that provide nice ambience and quality food in thiruvananthapuram district i must say. Whenever we visited this place, the satisfaction level was high. We tried many dishes out there and the spicy grilled alfaham is one among the best grill available. Its not a pocket friendly restau. But you will get some quality food with nice dinein experience. Highly recommended.

Service is good. Food taste average. Over priced. Very neat place. Quantity is sufficient. Good list of starters. Most of them with authentic Kerala taste. Masala is tasty. Fast serving ans very neat atmosphere. Price little high... biriyani is really good.

Though they have limited vegetarian options, the food was pretty tasty and the portion size was generous. The on-floor manager recommended some great dishes for the meal. Overall a very good restaurant, especially to try authentic Kerala cuisine.

We had food from the Azad Restaurant recent three consecutive days. I would like to some very bad experience with regard to that. *GOOD* ambience *WORST* 1. Taste 2. food was salty. 3.Overpriced 4. Quantity was very low 5. Attitude of the order-placing person ( his behaviour was very bar ) NB: Need to improve the quality and taste for the amount paid.

Nothing...I mean nothing beats the taste of Azad Biriyani...Simply mouthwatering. !!! The most authentic and super tasty biryani you will ever get in Thiruvananthapuram city. Had lunch with wife. There was a bit of waiting due to the timings as it opened at 1:40 pm after Friday prayer. The arrangement for waiting as well as guiding to the seats were excellent. Professional and courteous staff. The waiter took the orders and items duly delivered in short span. The biriyani rice was properly cooked. The masala flavour was authentic and perfectly blended with rice. Chicken cooked well. Had fresh juice which was great tasting but a bit expensive. Took a mutton biryani as parcel. The preparation was excellent as well. Time is now late night around 12 and the taste and aroma still clings in my breath. As the name implies, you will definitely get a star treatment over there. Must visit place for non veg lovers visiting Thiruvananthapuram city.

Very nice restaurant inside the MOT. Beautifully done interiors, the ambience was good, the food was quite good. There was no delay in getting a seat nor was the food delayed. We ordered the starters first and then the main course and then the dessert. The service was good. The quantity was good and the price was reasonable. Enjoyed the dinner ( food ) and the ambience.
