Ayyapan Home Stay - Hotel in Megamalai - Theni, India

Manageable For occasionally stay. Food is good. But ambiance, Parking, Other recreations Spa not available.

I strongly recommend not to book at this home stay. It Is 12 km away from the megamalai zone. This home stay is located in decent view junction beside the main road and forest base. Very less people take accommodation..when I took I was the only guy in entire home stay. Prity scary to stay. No proper facility. Uncleaned washroom Shared room basis. No hot water facility. Main Door is made up of semi transparent glass No privacy at all for family stay. Windows have no lock. Wall quality is dummy. I suggest not to book at all. Else you may experience the thrill night with no proper sleep. Because of roof top is metal sheet ..you may end up with waking several time due to sound .as small object fall on sheet ..creates huge sound. Note one agent will be available in gate entry. Prefer to not contact and get this worthless room. Please book prior and stay inside town. That will be best to spend time.

Very worst rooms and arrangements. Toilets are not clean and all taps are with dirt & rust. All rooms are with insects and worms and during the rain times, the room ceiling is leaking. Even the food, they cooked (seperately charged and not Free) for us are not good, some of our friends faced severe stomach issues after the dinner. They are charging INR 4500 per night, but it is not even worth for INR 1000. Don't book this stay if you are going with your family and even with your friends.

Worst stay ever. - room and bathroom were not clean - no geiser so no hot water for taking bath - 80rs charged for dinner - 2 chapathis and unlimited idly. Worst idly and sambar. - they don't even have eggs or omlets ( don't believe the foods pic they uploaded we can't get any such thing here) - they don't provide breakfast, so only option is we need to start off early down and no proper hotels in Megamalai as well - rooms are actually just separated with boards so anything we talk are heard in next room Definitely not suitable for a family stay.

Not at all a place to stay for family. Bachelors can take risk staying here. It is just like a asbestas sheet shed. Booked 3 rooms for family stay, through Rajesh, Therila and paid advance 3k. Spoke to the owner as well. On visiting there everyone in the family felt like vomiting looking at the place... Also it is isolated 15 kms before megamalai. Wanted to cancel, owner was not reachable. Spoke to rajesh, he said he is helpless. We took govt guest house in megamalai, which is cheaper and far better. Contacted owner Mr. Aiyyappan, many times asking for refund if advance... He said he will do it, but didn't refund stating he incurred loss as we already made the booking.

Excellent property secluded from buzz with beautiful views and lovely rooms. The food Menu can be expanded a little at least for vegetarians. Lot of options are available for breakfast considering all age groups. Decent lunch and dinner menu which can be customized according to our preference. Best rooms in megamalai.

Minimum 1 star is required to enable the review option, so I have given this star rating. Not at all worthy for money, dont waste your hard earned money in this trash. If you want to waste your money, please find some other options for it. The stay itself was adventure for us, the rooms and toilets were completely occupied by worms and leeches.It was raining inside the rooms like rain forest. We went with the chicken and gave 300 to cook it, we came to know that this risk shouldn't be taken in future. I spent much time in restroom rather than enjoying the vacation. He prepared us dosa, ( no separate curry, he made some thing called curry with the chicken we brought), that dosa batter would have been prepared 10 days prior. In tamil we call it as pulicha maavu. Fun part is he collected 80 rs per head for that pulicha maavu dosai. They don't have parking area, so your car has to be parked on road side. I'm still wondering, what makes them to run the cottage in this quality.? Don't ever give a try, if you still wanna try, I wish you best of luck

Not worth for family are pleasant stay. Worst maintenance no current often ,it's a place for refresh. Foods are so spicy.
