We tried this while travelling to Pondicherry, it's okey kind of place. All other restaurants in route to Pondicherry from Bangalore are internal to Tiruvannamalai which will take more time. This restaurant is good to take break, it's in the highway and has decent parking for 3-5 cars. Coming to food, it's veg and okey, coffee was good.
Food taste was good. service was good. Some curries were good but others taste was not ok. Sambar and rasam were tasty.
Tried lunch. Lunch quality was ok. Serving cups are small, but they happily served additional quantity with a smile. Even though it was a bit crowded, service was fast. Restroom is under the stairs, tall people have to mind their head. Car parking is ok. If several cars come at the same time, it will be very difficult to park.
I will recommend it for breakfast , I ate ghee roast , onion uthappan ,poori and masala , masala dosa and as dessert we had Rasamillai and jamun ...taste is awesome price is bit high ... varieties are huge to taste 4/5 overall
To tell the truth, we landed here because we thought it was THE Ananda Bhavan (A2B). It's NOT. But we were hungry and we had a veg meal and we were happy. Will not recommend the tea stall next to it but the restaurant is clean enough to be a pit stop.
Food was okay. When we asked for onion oothapam, they outright said they didn't have cut onions, seriously? How long will it take to cut an onion? We insisted on it and only then they agreed to make onion oothapam. I've never heard such bizarre reasons to not serve the food ordered by a customer. The service was very slow too. Needs a lot of improvement.
One of the best hotels in Tiruvannamalai with good parking space (main). Hygiene and quality of food is above average, they serve full meals for just 100/- which is of good taste.
Barely any food left (plain dosa only) by 10:45am. No menu or rate card available. The only redeeming quality is the fact that it is on the Puducherry-Bengaluru highway.
