AMAYA - Restaurant in Port Blair - South Andamans, India

Excellent service, polite staff, welcoming host, live food kitchen, cleaning & hygiene maintained. What else you need when approach any restaurant in unknown place. All the staff makes you comfortable, gives you sense of friendliness & warm similes while passing by. Lovely food, we had a great time here. Made lot of memories with our newly bonded friend in Andaman itself. Cheers to that. Cheers to great hospitality.and live music here was cherry on the top which created '' vibe '' and we enjoyed that most. P.S - we had lot of drinks & food over there but I have pictures of few only. We spent almost 4 hours there, so imagine how much we enjoyed the place. Also our bill was quite high as prices are higher side but trust me you are on island and most of the things are outsourced from mainland and I guess transportation is expensive there so for this quality you will have to pay little extra. It's worth it. Go for this restaurant whenever you are in port Blair.

I was here at this beautiful roof top place with my friends on 26th October. It's the best place I have visited in Port blair. We loved the ambience and the live music so much that we came again on 27th Oct too. Service is also top notch . Nilusa and Chaitali Took care of us with utmost hospitality and always available for us whatever we wanted. Live music was too good.

This place offers a fantastic atmosphere with a pleasant staff. The food, especially the seafood, is quite good. The location provides a lovely seaside view, making it a delightful and scenic dining experience.However, it's worth noting that the prices are on the higher side.

Service was pathetic, food was awful, atmosphere was good but we can't have atmosphere to fill our tummy correct? We ordered Kung Pao And Pizza, but instead of Kung Pao we were served with some Chinese dish pretending to be King Pao however who knows about Kung Pao it's a sweet and savory dish with peanuts in it - but it was super treat type dish - anyways - Pizza was another hit since it was served cold and the server were to lazy to even admit it's been served cold - and that's when we called the GM and finally we got something to eat - anyways - Not recommended for people to like to have good taste and planning with family - You should rather opt for other available options - and for information the tomato sauce that goes in pizza was without salt - Never waste your money when it's not valued- One star to the GM who got us the another warm pizza but for two dishes 3K and with super attitude like you don't exists when you enter? Will plan to spend our money where customers are being respected!

The restaurant is a popular joint and simply stating the name of the restaurant to any cab/ auto will be sufficient for the taxi to take you there. The restaurant is however located quite a distance from the main road and to reach it, one has to meander through several quiet and dark alleys. The building stands on a narrow road and while there is limited space for parking, it didn't seem to be any trouble since the visitors were simply parked along the road. The ambience of the restaurant is quite upbeat. The music and the live performances lift your spirits as soon as you enter the open and well decorated premise of the restaurant. The wide and low chairs and tables seem perfect to set you up for a relaxed evening and the lighting is just on point- neither too dark to make it shady nor too bright to spoil the thrill of night time on a roof top. The service was extremely courteous and the food was delectable. We enjoyed the fish cooked in wine, the reshmi kebab (which I personally recommend for a try) and the other dishes we ordered. However, if you have reached the restaurant by taxi, it is difficult to find a ride back. It is recommended to make prior arrangements. All in all, it was a pleasant experience and I will most likely visit the place again. Cheers.

Really nice restaurant located inside the Seashell hotel. Rooftop bar and restaurant with lots of seating. Good selection of food and drinks (mostly Indian and Asian fusion), with lots of seafood options. Prices are a bit high for the area, but this is one of the best restaurants on Port Blair.

The food quality and the service is too good. Best place to chill with your family and friends. The ambience and the sea view damn yeah no word to express that feeling. But only one think that I don't like is the price, everything is overpriced for that I reduced one star.

A very expensive disappointment!! We ate here the first night we stayed at the sea shell hotel. It delivers on ambience alone, to an extent. We ordered a golden fried prawns, chilli fish, a seafood platter (Rs. 2200) and the akbari mughlai marinated chicken roll in rumali roti. Aside from the chilli fish starter and a whiskey sour cocktail, everything else was either average or waaaay below average. It also hurt because everything was super expensive. The ratings don't make sense!! The akbari mughlai chicken roll, which makes you picture a Kathi roll, was more like indo-chinese flavored chicken with soy sauce and a whole lot of capsicum stuffed in rumali roti. Nothing remotely mughlai about it!
