Absolutely blissful drive to the restaurant from Coimbatore! Greeted by a common patio breeding flies & none bothered to clean. Entered the dining hall & grabbed a seat ( you need to preorder) and got our Pre placed order - 1.5kg country chicken & meals. Succulent chicken and palate massaging spice with small onions and red chillies. Ps: have a tissue if you have running nose. Meals was added on with some plain gravy & 2 types of rasam. Ordered curd (pay extra). Here's the fun part, paneer soda was way past expiry & here comes the shocker. Country chicken -1050 (1.5kg) Meals (3) -450!!! Curd -40!!! Not included in meals Water bottle -20 decent Way too overpriced for the location and the ambience. Loved the food. Agree that country chicken is expensive but meals for 150 per person was just rasam. Scam! Aya Kadai is no more her Kadai but taken over by others. Yet another lovely chef turned entrepreneur story misled to misfire.

It was nice place for a country cultured non veg food. Especially, the country chicken.

It's very famous for country chicken varuval with authentic flavour. Also they provide chicken gravy, 2 types of Rasam and Baffalo curd. Great taste like Home food. One should order before 1 hr to get it prepared. Highly recommend.

My all time favorite. So many dhabas and restaurants may come and go. This Aaya kadai is the ultimate treat. Same taste, same quantity, reasonable price. Never had any stomach issues even after having 3/4 kilo chicken here. its always better to book atleast an hour before you reach. 1 KG costs 620 Rs + Rice,curd and water bottle. 1/2 KG is more than enough for a person who eats well. Most of the time Curd given is made of Buffalo milk. Can have great finishing.
